Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Allen

I would give this place a zero if I could, but one is the minimum. I wish I could give zero stars, but unfortunately the minimum is one. This place is quite literally a guide on how not to run an ice cream establishment. I remember the manager (I think her name was Arti or something) was yelling at her employees for something utterly stupid. I think it was about not giving a spoon with a cup? Either way it was disturbing the ambiance of the place and the whole place felt awkward after that. I bought an apple from the place and the manager gave me the first one that she saw from the back. What I saw was the most disgusting, rotten apple I had ever seen in my life. I passed on the apple and asked for some ice cream instead and saw that the manager had brought in an entire roster of employees and basically slaved them away. I really felt bad for these people. They all seemed tired and depressed but had no choice but to keep working for their greedy, selfish employer. The place is also gross as hell. The floor is sticky and it had an odor to it. The cold stone itself doesn't even work and the employees could only make a limited amount of ice cream. Overall this place is horrible and I recommend everyone to stay away from this Cold Stone which is located in Allen, TX. Make sure to verify couple of times the price of cake before you place a order by phone other wise they charge you more and will not refund your money even you show the proof. Also make sure to take a reciept from them for what you order. The Manager at that place says they will call you back but never called back.

This is what happened to me. I ordered a custom Small cake and picked it ontime but I forgot and didn't pay at the time of pick up. So i called back to the creamery and gave my credit card details thinking that they will charge only for what I ordered. But they charged me price of Large Cake even I took small cake, which I came to know seeing my credit card statement. I went to the store explained my situation to them and showed the proof. My husband did an online order and paid for four gotta have it size signature creation ice creams. When he picked them up they looked fine. However once we started to eat them we discovered that they had added an extra ingredient into all of them without asking and said that that ingredient was free. Like we should have been thanking them for adding it at no cost. But, unfortunately it was something that we didn’t like.They are fortunate that we were not allergic to the dyes in the candy. Even after taking out that added ingredient the ice cream that touched it tasted like it.
