Keller's Bar-B-Q Altamonte Springs — Restaurant in Altamonte Springs

So I ordered catfish lunch special with double fries okra and mac and cheese. Server was sweet and gave me a 15 percent off for military. She mentioned the catfish takes about 15 mins. Ok... no problem. 25 mins later I get my food and she stares the hush puppies are almost done. I tell her I can take the food without the pups. So the server offers a soda or dessert to compensate. I decline and I am nice the whole time. Get to my car and check my food to find that my mac is missing. I go back in and the server apologized and gave 2 a extra mac and the pups that were not ready the first time. So in my opinion. It was not busy and the people that were there already had their food. Catfish does not take 15 mins. The hushpuppies are a premade product as are the fries. Each takes 3.5 mins 2 cook. But food cam out fresh and hot for the 25 mins it took. Oh forgot to mention I am a Chef with over 20 years in the field. A piece of catfish that size should have taken less than 10 mins 2 cook.

So I just had the catfish... no flavor at all..no seasoning and the mac and cheese is a precooked product not home made. Reminds me of KFC or captain Ds mac. Disappointed. Changing review to 1 star as far as the food goes.

So today I went back because I called and complained about the food. The server knew exactly who I was and said she felt bad. They took my name and number and offered me a refund or another meal. So today I will try something else and post the review after.

Food was good. Service absolutely sucked. Our neighbor table suffered from their poor server too. Everything was ok, the food came, but the neighbor table suffered. And then the man in the skirt was showing his business. Ugh. For another time, perhaps ... Our waitress, Amber, seemed to totally disappear. So I asked our neighbor table waitress, Taylor, to replace my fries, as they were mushy. She said she took care of it. Even joked with Taylor saying Amber went for a cig. Waited 15 minutes. They didn't check on us. I got mouthy and asked for the fries and a take away carton. My 84 year old next door neighbor was with me. I had told her how delicious the food was, here We were lunching before picking out a new living room set for her. I digress. Amber questioned me saying I would deal with these troubles tomorrow. And then flitted to the back. My neighbor was outraged more than I. We went to American Signature Furnishings where we told of our experience. Two sales persons and a family both said how poor the service was there. And that they always have difficulty keeping staff. Sounds as if the leadership is lacking immensely. No member of management even attempted to rectify all this. So I called the other location in Lake Mary, spoke with a Victoria, very pleasant, she took my contact info, and promised the owner would get back to me. It's only food. They could have made it better. Instead they chose to let us stew. So ridiculous. So until they completely clean house and decidedly take their guests as employers, I cannot recommend Keller's in Altamonte...

Horrible, rude, snippy service. Recently, a big group and I called ahead to order food from Keller's. No one was told at any time that if we ordered ahead, we are not allowed to sit at the restaurant. When we arrived and were each paying for our food, we were informed that we were not allowed to eat at the restaurant, despite there being available tables. One person in our group had not called ahead and he placed his order there. He received his order within 10-15 minutes. However, I was still waiting for my order which I had called ahead for. I waited 40 minutes for my food to be ready. When I tried to explain to the general manager, Rihana, that I did not understand why my food took so long despite ordering ahead, she interrupted me various times and cut me off with the irrelevant excuse, "we didn't know you guys were all going to come in at the same time." I understand not letting your "takeout" customers eat at the restaurant when you are busy, however, you do need to explain that ahead of time and there is no reason to be rude about it. Your customer service is terrible. A 40 minute wait is not acceptable, especially when calling ahead for food. We placed the call at 11:40 and I did not receive my food until 12:20.
