Shawarma Palace — Restaurant in Anaheim

A great place to grab a tasty snack or a quick meal if you happen to be in the Avengers Campus. Ever since I watched the Avengers I've been craving some shawarma and as luck would have it Disney opened up a shawarma cart right in the park. They have a chicken shawarma I believe and an impossible vegan one which I ordered. The pita was soft and warm and the "meatball" was really flavorful. It comes with a zesty sauce for dipping but it was so good you don't really need it. This being Disney it is pricey at $15 but worth it IMO. If you're lucky you might be able to catch one of the many performances while you're eating your shawarma at the tables right...

We love shawarma and when I am telling you this was good shawarma, we were surprised! Better than our Greek restaurant at home! It is a simple shawarma though, it is just chicken, pita, and sauce. Theres no other toppings. The tzatziki was so good and the spices on the chicken were perfect. Overall it filled us up and was a great snack or meal. Definitely high quality for theme park food. It is a cart, but you can go to the outdoor seating of the pym test kitchen...

Not shawarma. More like Indian chicken curry on a pita. Sign says “served with vegetables”. There were no vegetables. Just Indian curry chicken on a pita with side of garlic sauce.

Edit: words can’t express how disappointed I am in this “shawarma”. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.
