I work close by to this location. i normally like to stop by here before my shift starts to get my coffee and sometimes lunch. however over the past month their service has gotten worse and worse! being so close to Disneyland they have a large flow of customers at all times. with that being said they should always be staffed and ready! i normally give myself 15 mins to get in get my drink and or lunch and get back on the road. however 2 weeks ago now this happened and i will now NEVER go back to this location!
i walked in to a line with about 4 customers in front of me. there was 1 cashier, 1 barista making drinks 1 guy cleaning the floors behind the counter and 1 girl (the manager) cleaning the glass around the counter. after 10 minutes of standing in line and only 2 customers getting their order taken (they each only ordered 1 drink per person) i started to get irritated. i had only 5 minutes for the next lady and myself to order plus wait for my drink while now behind me was a line of at least 15 customers! i could not believe the lack of urgency in the manager in charge. she saw the line getting longer and saw how slow the line was moving but thought that cleaning the glass (which wasnt even dirty) was more important then moving the line and making the company more money! i have been in retail management myself for about 7 years now and that is one of the top rules! not only does she not know how to time manage her employees but she obviously doesnt care about making the company money or her customers.
i am so dissatisfied that i not only do not go to her starbucks location but i have been going to the coffee bean tea leaf or Mojo's since the incident! loss to starbucks as i normally spend between $5-$12 there per day! GET...
Read moreVERY POOR customer service. Asked for a pour over grande decaf coffee since they didn't have decaf brewing. They totally forgot about it. The "shift lead" Jason said it wasn't his fault that he didn't make it because he didn't know. Then they made a tall. We had already been waiting for 12 minutes and we were the only customers and I didn't want to wait even longer for them to redo the pour over. By then the frapp that I ordered to take home was melting. I asked to just have the tall but asked for a refund since we had to wait so long. Jason gave me the refund and refused to give us the tall pour over that they already had made. Even though they were just going to throw it away. He was more concerned about being stubborn and being vindictive, really, than give us the drink as an apology for the long wait. I KNOW this is not Starbucks standard. I ended up asking him to remake the frapp since it had melted and at first he refused to do so saying that I should have drank it...to which I replied that it was for my son who was at home waiting for it. He finally agreed to remake it, after arguing with me yet again, with an attitude and then passed it to another barista to redo it AGAIN when I told him that he was not supposed to put frapp roast in a creme frapp. I LOVE Starbucks. Horrid baristas who had to be asked to make my drinks as they wandered...(I'd suggest random drug testing) Rude, obnoxious & mind blowing employee behavior...in addition, we've been here a million times before... & I'm astonished how down the drain this Starbucks has gone. Just bc their location is good doesn't mean ignorance is bliss! AWFUL! After 49 mins to make an iced coffee, a passion tea & a frap... They all three needed remaking bc the frap wasn't caramel, it was sugar free death aspartame also known as RAT POISON. My iced espresso shots were caffeine instead of decaf, I didn't ask to die with overloaded heart palpitations & the simple tea? Unsweetened! Who the heck is their regional manager? Guess what...
