The first time I went to this business was last week. My experience was wonderful and the food was absolutely tasty and fresh. However, today I went there, therefore making this my second time going here to get food and I was highly disappointed. I saw three people working (one white girl who stayed in the back and two black girls who were in the front.) I stood there waiting for someone to assist me. I understand the weather was rainy and it was cold. Sometimes with this type of weather you feel lazy and sleepy. I would like to think this was the mood. The meat containers needed refilling, the area with the veggies needed refilling and even though I stood there for what seemed to be five minutes the energy in the employees needed refilling too! They looked at me and it was almost like they were trying to figure out who was going to assist me. It took such a long time to make my food. This guy walked in from ubereats came in waiting for them to make the food for that order. The girl says oh it won’t take long. They were super slow today, horrible customer experience and service. They even tried to overcharge me for guacamole and cheese dip. The girl was picking the wrong items. It is very disappointing the food the first time and experience was amazing. This second experience was bad, the food didn’t taste fresh, they didn’t maintain cleanliness of the work station and honestly it just seemed like they didn’t want to work today. I won’t be coming back I’ll spend my money...
Read moreThis was my first time eating here. I've always preferred Chipotle over Moe's and I just assumed this place was more similar to Moe's. My bf forced coming here and I decided to be open minded... While I was ordering my salad, the man preparing my food offered me my choice of iceberg, romaine, or spinach. At first I said all three, but then when I glanced down, I noticed the romaine was turning brown. The man tossed it around with his hand and said it was fine. Most likely because he was too lazy to change it out for fresh. So I told him, nevermind, I'll just have the other two. Unfortunately... There was a glare on the glass and I couldn't see the spinach, but I hoped since the iceberg looked good it was probably just the romaine that needed to be thrown out.... But as you can see from my photo.... Oh how wrong I was... As a place that literally claims and advertises they are farm fresh on the door... You'd think they would have fresh food... But this spinach was decomposing so much it was turning to slime! It was sssssooooo much worse than the romaine that was starting to turn brown. I tried my best to pick out all the slimey decomposing spinach, but I still am terrified I'm going to get sick from some pieces that were hidden down under all the toppings! Perhaps this place can be good? Perhaps it's just this location and/or the lazy worker that doesn't care about keeping their ingredients fresh like they advertise, so I gave it an extra star, but I will not be...
Read moreSeems odd to have to remind the tortilla employee that a Tofu Burrito needs, you know, tofu. Whatever. I told the toppings person (who didn't at all seem to recognize the difference between "a little fresh jalapeno" and "the biggest handful of fresh jalapenos you can fit in your hand" -- and the same with pretty much every topping I asked for) that I didn't want chips, but apparently my no-chips message didn't make it to the cashier as I was paying, because she readied a basket with chips. Expecting that it was about to be my basket (since I was the only person in line), I told her, "No chips, please" and when she was handed my burrito, wrapped in foil, she, in turn, handed it to me. I've never not been given a basket. Just to be clear, I didn't say, "No chips and no basket, please." I thought maybe I'd find a stack of fresh baskets near the salsa or something, but there was not. Every table I looked at was dirty and while I ate, I counted no less than six employees standing behind the counter, talking loudly about TV shows and other topics which didn't at all seem work-related. Since I'm traveling and I don't plan to return if I have a say in the matter, I truly don't care about any of the above, but I mention this for customers who are expecting a normal burrito experience here. You'll need to stay on top of the process to make sure you get the food you want, and an actual basket if you dine in. And you may want to bring your own...
