Sorry Big Air Anderson, it's a Big No from me. My daughter hosted a party for my grandson. When we arrived we saw where party people check in. The girl would only say have you filled out a waiver. Would NOT talk to me until she could find the waiver on her computer. The Big Air machines kept messing up and filling out their waiver was rather frustrating. After said waiver was complete, I returned to her. She told us their technology keeps messing up. (Note to everyone , , , FILL OUT BIG AIR'S WAIVER ONLINE ON YOUR OWN COMPUTER/PHONE, ETC. PRIOR TO ARRIVING) She gave my daughter stickers and wrist bands. We asked for a cart to put the birthday supplies on. (We saw other carts with children's names on them and party supplies) she looked at the carts and walked off. I went by the carts 30 minutes later and couldn't find one with my grandson's name on it so I just took his present out to my car. 20 minutes before his party was to start I grabbed an empty cart, bought our cake and supplies in and stood guard over it so no one else mistakenly took it. I had no idea who arrived and checked in from our party or how many guests showed up. The people at the party station couldn't/wouldn't tell me. The people working the party check in, won't tell you anything. They say they'll do it or take care of it. But this doesn't happen. I saw the people who was in our designated party room wrap up and leave. I waited for an employee to clean the room. This didn't happen. I asked the people at the party station if our room was going to be cleaned or did they want me to clean it? She said she would do it. It didn't get done. I tracked down another employee and asked them if I could clean the room. They went in and cleaned it. He also said he would be back to take out the trash, This didn't happen. Fortunately for us, we didn't have a lot of trash. An employee brought in our food (it was good, better than the usual party place pizza). Naturally the kids starting asking for drinks. I went to the party station to ask about our drinks and the icees that was also purchased with our package. I was told the drinks were on the way and that our guests were suppose to get their icees during play time. HUH? 1. NO ONE from Big Air would take 2 minutes to explain to us how their parties work. 2. Big Air doesn't tell us which or how many of our guests arrived. How would we be able to track them down? 3. Why wasn't these icee tickets given to us when my daughter checked in? Big Air DID call for our party kids when it was our party time, however their speaker isn't clear and children screaming makes it hard for them to hear. This all happened yesterday. I honestly do not know if all of our guests made it into our party room. Our party person DID refill the soda pitcher when she noticed it was low. I'm sorry, I don't know her name. Not all of their employees wear name badges and our party person didn't introduce herself. After the party and we checked out. We wasn't given a receipt, wasn't emailed a receipt. NOTHING. The party staff did ask if we wanted to speak to the party manager. We declined. By this time we were tired, frustrated, and couldn't necessarily control what would have come out of our mouths.
To sum up. . . the kids had fun! The kids liked the food! The Birthday boy had fun. These are the important things.
Will I return with my grandchildren? NOPE, sorry. My youngest turned one. We took her to the 6 and under area. NO ONE monitors it. Even with her Mother sitting next to her, she almost got ran over. Older kids play there and no staff reminds them not to. Staff doesn't walk around picking up the plastic from the socks, drinks, etc that the children leave laying around. Again, I'm sorry, but the bathrooms are...
Read moreI booked with Big Air for a 28 person party group, and we had an absolutely terrible customer service experience. Firstly, the party manager was not even working for our party. This would not have been an issue had the young employees behind the desk not repeatedly asked each other "if [he] knew there was another party today, why did [he] leave?" leaving us to believe we had been forgotten after pre-paying nearly $650. None of the employees or managers provided my group any sort of welcome, overview, or general rules of using the park. In all honesty, it seemed as though we were a bother to everyone working there. We purchased pizzas as a part of the party package, and they were horrible. No one in my group ended up eating the full amount we had paid for, and we had 3+ large boxes worth of leftovers because it was inedible. Lastly, I was guaranteed an itemized, line-by-line invoice at the time of purchase over the phone. When we went to leave and still did not have the invoice, I asked the working manager for one and they had no clue what I was requesting. After explanation, the working manager went and got another employee who did not even introduce themselves, and I was promised an itemized invoice by the morning. At 9 PM that night, I received a written description of everything we had purchased, nowhere near an itemized list. I called and asked to speak to the manager, and was told they would call me back on Friday. On Saturday, I called again and the manager I was waiting to call me back answered yet offered no help or support. I was placed on nearly a 20 minute hold with no answers, and when I hung up and attempted to call back, I was placed on hold again.
I am disappointed that a new attraction in this area can't even meet the most basic customer service expectations, and I would strongly advise against booking with Big Air for larger groups or parties. Go elsewhere, have way more fun, and...
Read moreWe did a birthday party. I think our host was Theo, repeatedly asked how they could us. You have 40 minutes in a party room, you keep it moving, timing works perfect. After 2 hours of jumping you are really ready to go anyway. Kids of all ages loved it! I have two suggestions, do a guest list. Even if this is something we fill out ahead of time and bring in so they can have a list to go by. If the name is not on the list, they pay the upcharge. I had a big party, some should have been paying to add others. I ended up with a 23 kid count, which can add up a huge bill. My host spoke with the manager and quickly fixed this issue. I did not know I needed cash to tip my host, thought I could add it to the cc charge. I got their cashapp. It would be nice to know this ahead of time or simply use a dry erase marker to put their cash app on the glass inside the party room. They did such a good job trying to help and getting things ready I really wanted to give a tip. Everything was at the time it was supposed to be too, no delay as some others commented. I actually got in the room 5 minutes early just to organize things. One other suggestion, coupons given at parties for your next visit would be great to get kids coming back. Most have siblings and would increase your business as well. Thank you! Our party was great and my son said this was his best...
