Don't stay there! Trouble started when trying to book online from Australia. Stupid internet form would accept Australian address or phone details. Eventually rang the booking hotline in the USA and after going through the booking process the operator hit enter and all the details disappeared so we had to do it all again - a very expensive telephone call. Confirmation email never arrived. Sent email and finally got confirmation of the booking.||Arrived at 12 noon only to be told the room wouldn't be available until 3pm. Finally got into the room and it was awful, overpowering terrible smell and hadn't been cleaned properly. It was small - we advised reception when checking in that we were checking out the facilities for possibly 6 week or longer stays. This room would not be satisfactory for 2 people. Only 1 person can sit at the kitchen bench with the gas lift chair that doesn't work. There is no oven and the refrigerator is small. Hot plates take up valuable bench space so no where to put washed dishes. Dishes and cutlery still had food stuck to them, there was no detergent of dry cloth, remnants of food in the sink and all the bench and table surfaces were greasy. Dirt in the coffee machine - would not use. Bathroom too small for 2 people and less than half a roll of toilet paper. Wall mountable hair dryer was not mounted and bedside lamp didn't work. Bed was terrible and sagged in the middle. Made do for one night and when having a shower the next morning I found the source of the smell - it was the shower curtain. It smelt like stale urine. My wife removed the shower curtain and took it to reception saying we wanted to move out. After some resistance from the receptionist the manager came out and offered to move us to a two room suite for the same price. It was marginally better and we stuck it out for the remaining 4 nights of our visit. Unfortunately it was right by the lift and laundry area so you heard both through the thin walls.||The whole place smells off from the moment you walk in to the little reception area to the corridors that smell of cigarette smoke even though there is supposed to be no smoking. There was food on the floor of the 3rd floor corridor which wasn't cleaned the whole 5 days we were there.||The whole place is in dire need of renovation. Walls are damaged, timber work around the doors splintered, kitchen doors damaged, etc. the first room we stayed in should be condemned.||Lots of itinerant workers staying coming and going at all hours.||Would never go back and advise anyone thinking of staying there to...

Everytime someone above us is extremely loud, not just regular walking, it's stomping, jumping and falling sounds, as if someone is going to literally come through the floor, the staff instead of helping us by just telling them to be more careful, they agitate the situation by telling them personally who said something which is a violation of privacy rights, and this causes conflict and drama MORE than it should. I would of given this place 5 stars, but I personally don't like my name or information given out. The rooms are said to be updated, but fixtures and things were not as updated as said. We asked for a big enough room, we got a small room, and had been nice about it, never complained. I have not complained not once about anything, but the noise. We like to get sleep, so we can work and make the money we put into this hotel. But because of the noise, loudly wakes us up, every so often, it's enough to make anyone upset and scared for someone's safety, since it sounds like people jumping off furniture. I was raised better than some, in a military family, and taught never to act like a highschool student or middle school student over small things. Because it just makes people look bad professionally and personally. I also had a bad experience, while trying to recover from Covid-19. When the staff clearly stated it was going around before I got sick and didn't realize just how bad it was. And even though we used a lot of hand sanitizer when touching elevator keys, or doors, using masks, we STILL caught it here. Then when we found out that's what it was, we were treated worse than most who obviously had, had it too. Which upset me, because the staff decided to spread it around that we were the only ones, but that is not the case, they had staff that had it during that time or just previous to us. Yet again, our personal information put out there, even though they gave us papers about our rights to privacy. We are technically reclusive individuals and ONLY go out when working or just "have" to. Staff is thieves come in room and steal your valuables and then tried to take money off my card in the middle of my stay then came in saying they had to do inspections when they thought I was gone I seen the who woman and the white man who talks like he is Mexican cus he missing his teeth but he really is white and talks like that cus he had no teeth and would sound like a wisp if he talked white I talked to him in Spanish and he didn't even know what I was saying and still said he was half Mexican lol but I caught them going through my stuff when they thought I was gone saying they had to do inspections when I told them they couldn't they told me they could kick me out and keep my money if they did same day they tried to take money off my card and my back called me to verify if it was me and I told them no so they wasn't able to but they tried to take 545$ off my card and that's why they had my card in case when I left and they inspected it and I messed it up but they said they did inspections in the middle of the week every week to make sure I wasn't smoking that is why they sneak in before I would be able to get rid of smeall if I was but i wasnt but they invade your privacy the white woman that like like a man who is manager is a thief and stold money an my CBD weed out my room I said I was calling the police then they threating to kick me out if I did and would not give me my refund for the extra week I paid for and I have to take them to court for my 407$ refund and the 1000$ they stole I can't do anything about cus I had no proof the it in my room and didn't have them on camera but now I have Alfred security that records everything from my phone so it wasn't ever happen again I would not pay 5$ a week to stay there with them thieves cus they will take everything you got then try to kick you out but I wouldn't leave and the police couldn't make me cus I didn't do anything Wring there staff.
