First of all, hands off to the staff. They were really nice and attentive by having some of their employees walking around cleaning tables, grabbing plates, and giving refills. I liked how they had people constantly putting in fresh new food so when I grabbed my food it did not taste like certain buffets in which the noodles or meat are dry. I liked all the food that I had but I got to suggest the meat kebab which was very juicy and tender. They had a variety of selection including all the typical chinese fare plus some American fare like macaronia and chesse, chicken, pizza, casseroles, along with hibachi and sushi, which comes free with any buffet meal. Out of desserts, there was once again a big selection and oh my, are those cookies good. One thing was, the ice cream didn't come in a soft serve machine like I am used to seeing it but instead came prepackaged with choices of vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and sherbet which I ended up actually liking better since the soft serve machines would sometimes be broken or cause problems when getting your icecream. The thing that really amazed me though was how nice the building was. Usually, chinese buffets tend to have all this used furniture with rips, tears, and dings and tend to be owned by cheapskates but apparently this one seems to have nice furniture along with a nice mix of windows lighting the room along with the chandeliers, and recessed lighting. The restrooms are nice and clean. The parking situation is okay considering I was there at the busiest time of the day and there were about 10 or so spaces left. It is very convenient to shopping, so if you wanna hit two birds with one stone, this buffet is for you. It was about $8 for an adult lunch buffet, and $10 for a dinner buffet. I say this is the best chinese buffet in Anderson and the best one I have...
Read moreOnly giving one star because I have to.. I wouldn’t eat at this place again if my life depended on it. Me and my husband ate here for a late lunch today because our usual Chinese restaurant that we go to was closed ,and we had to rush home for the toilet. No place has ever made us both feel so sick especially at the same time.. and not even like food poisoning sick just straight up made us not feel good. Almost all of the food was cold, even though it was so hot in this establishment that we were both physically sweating.(I think the temperature is on purpose to keep people from staying too long) the temperature was so wild that the ice cream in the coolers was melted. Also our waitress continuously stood at her post and just stared at all the tables in her section as we ate. After eating one plate each she brought over the little black tray with fortune cookies on it , which immediately made us feel rushed. When she finally came and asked if we wanted refills right when we were about to leave I declined but asked for two to go cups instead, and she only offered to bring one.. I had to correct her and say two. She then proceeded to clean our table with an attitude, while literally touching me with the napkin she just threw on my plate. We still gave her a $5 tip anyways but never...
Read moreI went this past Saturday. I arrived at 8:30pm. Before going I checked to see what time they closed and it said 10pm. We get there and start eating and while we are eating the staff is watching us the entire time. We were very uncomfortable. Finally at 9:28 they came over and asked were we getting dessert, we said no and continued to eat our food. 2 minutes later they came back to say we are closed. I responded and said you close at 10 right, they responded and said yes. I then said it’s only 9:30. They said, we are closed. I asked 2 other people what time they closed because I felt there was a language barrier with the initial lady I was speaking to, they all said 10. I let them know it was only 9:30 and their response was still we are closed. So we didn’t get to finish our food and had to leave. They were very rude and had horrible attitudes during this entire conversation. I felt like if we only had a limited time to eat, they should have said that up front before we paid so we could make the decision on if we wanted to stay and rush and eat or not. I eat there pretty often, literally like once a week… and I’ve never had an experience like this, but I won’t...
