Fazoli's — Restaurant in Anderson

Okay. This is the third time we have gone here since they opened and every time we have had a good experience. But this time was exceptionally good. They were SLAMMED when I went in and the poor guy taking orders was dealing with everyone but he had a smile, and greeted everyone in a friendly manner. Everyone else was running all over trying to keep up. But they were all friendly as they ran by saying excuse me and smiling. I had more breadsticks brought to me than I could ever eaten all by different people, all nice. I got up at the end to grab a to go box and more drink but had to wait for the drink bc again it was crowded and when I got back to my table they cleared my food off. I was about to die bc I had over half my food left. But I caught the lady cleaning the table but not the guy who took the food and it was Long gone. She asked a manager if they could help me and she jokingly said NOPE. THEN LAUGHED AND SAID I'M JUST KIDDING BABY! GO GET HER FOOD! 😂 They asked me what I had and I told her it was really just spaghetti at that point bc I ate the chicken. And she said but what did you have?? I told her chicken parm but with meat sauce... Y'all, they made me a WHOLE NEW CHICKEN PARM!! Packed up breadsticks and apologized again for taking mine. I told her but I really didn't have all that left.... But she said but don't worry about it. We are sorry that happened!! Have a great day!! I laughed and said thank you and hey, at least they're on top of keeping tables cleared off, so...

No air, box fans at the register and one for the poor people cooking the food. Service was terrible. Ordered meals with drinks only to go get our drinks at the drink machine and there was no carbonation for soda. In addition, their syrups had run out for fruit punch and lemonade. The gentleman checking everyone out knew this, but still allowed us to order and pay for drinks. When we asked for our drinks to be refunded the manager was very confused as to why we couldn’t just drink tea. Their ice was broken in the soda machine and they had placed a large bucket on the counter for people to just dip their cups into to serve their own ice. This is NOT sanitary! There were no clean tables- I counted 10 that had not been cleared, and the one we ended up sitting at was broken and wobbled the entire time our family tried to eat. No take out containers for leftovers other than those that were the size of our hand. When I asked for a larger one the girl told me they didn’t have anything. While watching them make our meals at the register, nothing was fresh! It looked like premade frozen meals they sent through a large oven to heat and then serve. Could have just gotten a frozen dinner at Walmart. There had to be 12 people working but everyone was standing around the box fans instead of serving guests, making food, clearing the tables, or getting the drive through.

At this rate, Fazoli will be closed in Anderson within a few months. Pitiful...

I like Fazoli's food but I was very disappointed with the service but more over the reply I received when suggesting more training for the cashier. He was very nice and when I ordered with a to go order he said he could not enter my name so he gave me a number and one to hold onto so that they could find me. After waiting almost 30 mins. with others after me receiving theirs I ask the girl expediting about my order because I see my receipt said dine in. She said that they had made the rounds but couldn't find the number (that I had facing them while sitting for my order). They put the order that was just sitting there in to-go boxes and handed to me. When I told the girl that maybe the cashier needed a little more training so that this doesn't happen again. She informed me that it wasn't his fault but that the computers are just set up that way. BS, I have worked in food and retail long enough to know that was BS. I know mistakes happen all the time and I was not mad at the cashier but that young girl really ticked me off. Don't treat me like I'm an idiot and just take my suggestion so that he will know what to do next time. Happens again and there are others...
