Went there yesterday and came a bit before opening. The workers were nice about it and told me to come back in a few. Came back ordered the popcorn chicken and seasoned fries. The amount of food I got was INSANE. I think that what I got was a catch for under 20 dollars. Food was served hot and right, the tables were nice even though the actual restaurant is small. The food was also AMAZING. I'd never had radish before and I didn't know that it came with my chicken but I tried it. Unsurprisingly, it was the BOMB because this spot doesn't disappoint. The "spicier" option wasn't spicy at all (which I prefer because spicy food and carbonated drinks don't mix well in my opinion) and the fries were perfectly heated. When I tell you there was A LOT of food, I mean that I ate Hola Seoul for lunch, dinner, and lunch the next day. No shame to anyone who can eat all of this in 1 serving though. But all of this is to say that if you're a struggling student (or not in this economy) and don't want to cook, but also don't want to spend a bunch of money for good eats, THIS IS YOUR SPOT. Be careful with who you give this info to though, because I don't wanna have this place crazy packed when I come for a bite or worse crazy expensive. They got my order in pretty quick as well and all the food smells divine. If you're on the fence about going here, hop off, and runnnn to this place. No, I'm not getting paid this spot is just really...

EDIT. ALSO ORDERED VEGGIE BOP AND IT HAD SAUSAGE IN IT. Ordered an hour before and came a few minutes after pick up time.Stood around figuring the boy behind the counter in a phone call would acknowledge a customer. I had to say something after standing for a few minutes which is not a big deal but then he just came back and put his finger up and went back to the side not even listening to the fact I had a pickup order. I just feel like with time sensitive food and orders the food quality goes down the more time it just sits after being made. Stood for 10 minutes and just saw him crouched behind the counter not on the phone then. My pickup order was the one on the counter he could have just gave me instead of sushing me and ignorning me. A woman came back and just asked if I had a pickup and gave me my order with no explanation or sorry I told her I had been standing and ignored. I paid for 30 dollars worth of food plus a tip. But I'd be wrong if I disputed the chargers for my cold cheese dogs and other food. Not sure if there was a barrier language wise because it was my first time ordering (which happens and I understand personally) but my experience makes me worried after driving from Belleville just to try the food if it's...

They do the Seoul part really really well, but they don’t do put nearly as much effort into the Hola. Which is like, no mamesssss, if it’s in the name there should be more to it. It ends up being just Korean ingredients and food in a tortilla, that’s as far as it goes to being “mexican”.

The main dish that exemplifies that is the tofu taco, which thank you for the refund, but it was cold, and unseasoned, like there’s so many ways to season tofu and nothing. It was just a bunch of cold soft tofu, iceberg lettuce and loose edamame and corn. I’m not even sure it was salted.

“According to the Mexica (Aztec) codices, eating food without chile was considered “fasting” and food without salt was considered “torture.” ” - Decolonize Your Diet by Luz Calvo & Catriona Rueda Esquibel

I’m totally still going to come back, this is a good place to eat, but for the prices versus quantity, I wouldn’t suggest getting much of the food leaning closer to the...

The first thing I tried from Hola Seoul was the Spicy Pork Cup Bap. I had no clue what I was in for but when I dug in, I was so surprised to see how much variety there was in 1 portion of food. The sauce on top was really tasty and didn't overwhelm the flavors of the other food. However the flavor of the spicy pork itself is way too overpowering. Halfway through the cup I felt like I couldn't eat anymore because all you can taste in your mouth is the extremely sweet pork. The lettuce was really crispy and the fries were by far the best addition. There was also rice and glass noodle. But again I feel like any other protein that is not that sweet would balance the cup bap perfectly.

Recently dined at Hola Seoul in Ann Arbor and opted for their Korean bibimbap. Found the pricing to be quite reasonable, and the portions were well-balanced with an appropriate mix of veggies and rice. A notable touch was the inclusion of Pepper Paste (gochujang) as a side, allowing me to tailor the spice level to my liking. The thoughtful details and flavors have left me eager to explore more of their menu. Next time, I’m eyeing the Korean chicken and can’t wait to see what other culinary delights this spot has to offer. The experience was delightful, and I appreciate the attention to detail in creating an enjoyable dining atmosphere.

Tteokbokki was spicier than I expected but very good. I had never had it with an egg before and I enjoyed it alot. The kimchi was very fresh and yummy. The stand out item was the korean fried wings (hot n spicy). They are SO SO GOOD. Also I got a LOT of food for a good price. I will get at least one if not two more meals out of this order. Delivery came in a timely manner. Be careful when eating, the red sauce stains. If you get the tteokbokki I recommend you save the leftover sauce and eat it over rice with cheese the next day. :) 감사합니다
