M-36 Coffee Roasters Cafe — Restaurant in Ann Arbor

The tall curly hair guy was rude for no reason when I asked him to fill up my matcha all the way. In an accusatory way, as if I had done it on purpose, he said he didn’t appreciate me asking them to add half and half after ringing up the order (in reality, I originally forgot and would've paid whatever extra amount he said it was, why be nasty about it and assume bad faith?). Then he said I should have ordered it with ice if I wanted the whole cup to have liquid … what? He didn’t tell me that originally when I asked for no ice. I always ask for no ice here and they fill it normally. The matcha also tasted weirdly watery so I tossed it anyway. Waste of $7. I come here every day for drinks so this was pretty disappointing, will make me rethink coming here.

PS I've worked in food service so I know it's a tough job. I'm not asking for perfect service with a smile, just service that's reasonable and doesn't make me feel like I've committed a felony by asking...

Fun shop :) very busy! • espresso: a full bodied and deep smoky flavor that leans towards the darker side of the spectrum, light hints of nutmeg • @nuovasimonelliofficial espresso machine • as you walk through the glass doors the interior gives off light log cabin vibes that meet quintessential college town charm. The basement seating area resembles a stylized urbanesque subway station. • large space with a great amount of tables, however due to the high traffic area, tends to fill up quickly • suitable number of outlets • another drawback of the central location is the lack of parking. ann arbor, the bustling town that it is, has extremely hard to come by street parking • cool little shop with quick and polite service :) @m36coffeeroasters

Their drinks are great: We ordered the Violet Ginger Dragon and the Desert Pear Creamy Cold Brew last time.

The location is great: Perfect spot just off the diag for going up with friends or making a stop while checking out downtown! Also a nice place to study with there main floor and below ground level.

Their staff are great: They keep the cafe clean and are super helpful. I even got some assistance from them for my scavenger hunt proposal to my...
