This is a place that previously I thought was here since my childhood but never went to because my mom couldn't handle the smell of Indian Cuisine. However, I decided to go there due to curiosity. Turns out, they've been under new management since 2 1/2 years ago.
When I walked in, the place was small but clean. There's a handful of tables, but not over crowded, and a bar with a counter to sit at. In the early afternoon (~3pm) it's not too busy and I was able to sit right away.
I ordered a Mojito from the bar, which was very refreshing and perfectly balanced between flavors and the amount of liquor.
As for food, I ordered the buttered chicken with rice. It comes with a creamy tomato sauce with some spices, but very mild in the heat department (which is good for someone who can't handle a lot of heat). Talking to the staff, they offer a variety of different levels of spice, so there is variety for those who love the heat. The chicken itself was cooked beautifully, very moist and fell apart in your mouth. Aka, not dry at all!!!! It went really good over rice. I ended up taking some home, so it would be the perfect amount for someone really hungry, or 2 people.
The staff themselves were very nice, and I would...
Read moreIndian Restaurants lunch buffet is always a good way to judge how the restaurant fare. We had limited time and they just opened so we give it a go. It's not a bad value to be fair as you can eat all you want. But for us we don't eat big portions. The purpose is to try a bit of everything within our limited time. We were the first customer so we get to eat dishes supposedly fresh from the kitchen. The food selection is a bit lacking compared to other Indian lunch buffets we had from various cities. They serve a Beef Curry, very watery sauce and not memorable, a Tandoori Chicken, quite dry, a Chicken Marsala, all breast meat, dry and tasteless. The best meat dish is probably the Curry Goat but not everybody eats goat. For vegetarian dishes, they serve a Dal dish and a Zucchini dish. The Dal is not bad but the Zucchini is already pretty mushy and watery at 11am. Their samosa is terrible I have to say. Then there's salad and watermelon. Overall the food is pretty tasteless for an Indian/Pakistani restaurant and worst part of it being the food is just luke warm. Even at 11am! Well I gave them an extra star because of the fresh Naan bread they serve to your table and hot Masala Tea. Overall it's a...

Bawarchi’s has EXCELLENT and very tasty food. Their customer service is amazing. Everyone working there is very kind and attentive to your needs. We recently started going back (with new owners after someone posted on Nextdoor)and I’ve been visiting at least 3 times a week, mostly with my daughter. I started inviting my friends out to lunch and they agree, the food is delicious. You can try their Buffet lunch (11:00am -3:00pm daily) I’m sure you will find a favorite dish. My oldest daughter lives a couple hours away and has started requesting I bring her Bawarchi’s when we visit (and eats it when she comes into town). It is that good 😊
Keep in mind Indian food is not for everyone. If you try something you do not care for there’s no reason to leave a negative one start review. You can be honest and say you didn’t care for it and give the reasons. Being rude and leaving a one star review is not using the review system as it was intended.
PLEASE VISIT and see for yourselves. Wishing you much success and...
