We went for spl bday dinner and it was a disaster.
They are short on staff (like every other restaurant in the area). Due to Saturday night, they were busier than usual.
After a bit of wait, even though there were empty tables on the right of the reception (which is nicer dinning area), we were given the worst possible table, in back corner on left behind the bar. Didn't argue because I knew they would have some excuse of keeping everyone in a section so their staff can serve better Yada Yada yada..
Our sever was friendly, took our order promptly. Only 2 salads came ahead, and he said a fresh batch of chicken soup is being made, and it will only be 5 more mins. After a couple of mins, he arrived again to say, "Don't know know why it's taking longer, but your entrees are ready, but soup isn't. He asked he if he could bring the entrees first. We said we would wait for soup. He again came back in a couple of mins and said, "Can we get a different soup just to speed up so entrees don't get cold sitting out ready. My kids decided to get house salad instead. He brought out their salads quickly. With 2 mins of serving salads, he brought out entrees, and now we didn't even have enough space on the table which was already small for four people.
Just a very bad management of serving the order. They were either in a hurry or may have other reason. Basically, my kids had a full plate of salad and entrees at the same time. Needless to say, all 4 entrees were Luke warm due to sitting out for a while.
Our table was bad, food was served in a hurry, and entrees were barely warm. It was not a great night as far as bday dinner.
Avoid sitting in the dining area next to bar. It's a horrible ambiance due to crowded tables. The reception area is way too small, so be ready to wait in the car. Ask if the menu item is really available before ordering. Otherwise, you may get the same situation like us, ordering salad because they couldn't bring out soup fast enough. I heard clearly that staff members telling each other they are out of calamari.. it was only 8 pm and Saturday night they are open till 11pm.
Will not return for at least...
Read moreIf I could put 0 stars, I would. My wife has been a mother for over 22 years and this was by far the worst Mother's Day she has ever had thanks to this restaurant.
First, the place stunk, you smelled something rotten the moment you walked in. After using the restroom I found out why, absolutely disgusting. I found the manager and told her that the restrooms, men's and women's were disgusting! She began to tell me a long story that they had a plumbing waste line that is leaking and that the smell was coming from there. She stated plumbers had been out 4 times. With that smell, the restaurant should not be open as the HVAC is distributing methane gas throughout the restaurant.
But, not only that but the urinals in the men's room we so nasty and lacked cleaning so bad that the plastic splash guards in the urinals had crystallized urine on them. That shows no one has cleaned them in a long time. The manager said she would get a male staff member to check.
Now moving on from the disgusting environment, took 20 minutes to get drinks. Then nearly an hour after our arrival, our food came out but we never received appetizers, salads, or soups. They had to go back and find them. One person in our party's food was overcooked and cold and needed to be sent back. How you overcook something and then bring it out cold is beyond me. No one ever came and checked on us nor ever brought us drink refills. The waitress served everyone around us and ignored us. When we asked the manager for more drinks, it took 20 mins to get them.
Overall, an absolutely terrible experience and we will never come back again. The waitress really missed out. My wife and I have spent many years in the restaurant business and always overtip, especially on a holiday when staff are so busy. She really...
Read moreThe atmosphere of this restaurant seemed very hostile and prejudice, so I decided to stop coming to this restaurant for months. The food was ok but some of the staff members seemed very prejudice due to the fact I’m black. For example, there have been times when I was not greeted immediately at the door for more than 5 minutes when it was not busy than finally greeted with a nasty attitude. Than whites customers that walked in immediately after me were immediately greeted more friendly and seated. The greeters at the door were very unprofessional and loud and talked underneath their breath about customers and me as we eat our dinner. It actually made me not want to eat concerned they may have put something in my food because on occasions I found long curly hairs in my salad, serve wine in a crack wine glass, string from the cloth napkin in my wife’s straw but if I found anything more egregious I would immediately call the police and get a police report and file a lawsuit. The whole time me and my wife eat some members of the staff just stood in walkway giving us Salty hateful looks to the point that I was going to confront them until my wife calm me down. Who stares at a person while they’re eating or at all. I guess they were trying to intimidate me but intimidation will not ever work on me because I cut through bs and attack the source due to my military and correctional officer experience. I was always told staring was very rude and to top it off talking underneath their breath. This is a real cowardly form of hatred beneath a snake because if anyone of them would have approached me and my wife it would have been severe...
