I recently had the pleasure of hosting my mother's 75th birthday party at Daniels restaurant, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped into the private room, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality.
The food at Daniels was nothing short of fabulous. Every dish was prepared with utmost care and attention to detail, leaving our taste buds craving for more. The family-style serving allowed everyone to indulge in a variety of delicious flavors, and there was more than enough food to satisfy all of our guests.
What truly set Daniels apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff. Joy, who assisted in coordinating the event, was an absolute delight to work with. Her attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile ensured that every aspect of the celebration was taken care of.
During the party, we were fortunate to have Taylor W., Mateo, and Nick as our servers. Their professionalism and dedication were evident in every interaction with our guests. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure that everyone's needs were met. Their presence truly elevated the overall experience and made the celebration even more enjoyable.
One aspect that pleasantly surprised us was the affordability of the event. Daniels not only provided an exquisite dining experience but also offered it at a price that was well within our budget. The value we received for the quality of food, service, and ambiance was truly outstanding.
In conclusion, hosting my mother's 75th birthday party at Daniels restaurant was a decision I will never regret. The combination of delectable food, exceptional service, and affordable pricing made it a truly memorable occasion. I highly recommend Daniels to anyone looking for a venue to celebrate their...
Read moreDaniels is very popular and now I know why. First of all, the parking lot was very crowded as they do a tremendous take out business. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. Quality of the seating is why I rated them 4 stars instead of 5. Four of us were seated at a booth meant for 2. None of the booths appear to be large enough to seat 4 people comfortably. Also, the edge of the bench seat was broken and the cushions were no longer cushiony. Now for the great part. The food was amazing. They specialize in central Italian foods, with use of heavier tomato based sauces and creams. We had the calamari appetizer which was perfect, lightly fried with a spicy marinara dipping sauce. We also had the arancini which are crispy balls of rice and cheese. For entrees, the house specialty ziti comes with an excellent pink sauce that is complemented with fresh garlic and sun dried tomatoes. the chicken was seared and sliced very thin into the pasta. The veal parmesan was great, generous serving, crispy fried on a plate of pasta with just enough sauce. It was not flooded with gravy and was more than enough. There are several shellfish options and we tried the pasta with clams, mussels and calamari. You can pick your choice of mild, medium or hot, which decides how much crushed red is added. Medium was just right.
Now for my other passion: the wine list is extensive and pricing was fair on bottles. They have a full selection of wines from across the spectrum and their choices in Italian wines, especially Piemonte region was outstanding. The wines by the glass were not top notch, but who opens great bottles to sell by the glass.
Service was a little slow, but they were busy. We will come again and hope for better seating. Ottimo...
Read moreExcellent experience, as always! It's been years since we've been in, but everything was as perfect as we remembered. It was busy when we arrived, but I'd made reservations a week in advance (and even received a text confirmation! Awesome!) so we were seated right away. All staff were kind, helpful, and professional. Our server Josh was especially knowledgeable and seemed personally committed to ensuring our table of four had a great experience.
Every single dish was delicious, beautifully prepared, served at just the right temperature, and had a lovely harmony of flavors and textures. Drinks and desserts were great.
The servings were even larger than we remembered, as each entree could easily be at least two (if not three) meals, so we all have leftovers for at least another day!
We were shocked at how low the overall price was! We paid $180 with tax (before the gratuity) for 1 appetizer, 5 drinks, 4 soups/salads, 5 entrées, and 4 desserts!!! Plus with how large the portions were, we all have enough leftovers for dinner tomorrow. A truly incredible value.
Only downsides: dedicated parking lot was tight (even for a 5:30pm dinner!), and the tables were a bit on the small side (could barely fit everything for the delicious feast!). Honestly, not real issues, and not sure anything can be done about these things, but I wanted to be comprehensive. Our server Josh was extra good about bussing the table during the meal so we'd have as much space as possible.
Thanks for an awesome...
