Unfortunately, it can prove to be challenging to visit this place, as it closes so early (7 PM on weekdays and 8 PM on weekend days). Not sure if they'll be switching to summer hours at any point, but as of March 26, 2024, sunset happens around 7:30 PM here, and it will only stay bright longer as we get closer to summer, so it makes less and less sense to close this early. And this "criticism," if you will, comes from a good place - I am not meaning to be rude when I say they've lost out on my business a solid four times or so over the past month alone, simply due to these hours being so restrictive, especially when their tea would make for a perfect post-dinner snack, which cannot always be arranged early enough to accommodate the visit.

Last but not least, I did want to add that they sometimes forget to add add-ins, even if you pay for it. I once made the mistake of only realizing when I had driven 45 minutes back home, which was frustrating. Check your drinks while there!

To end this off on a positive note, I'd like to say: This is THE boba tea place I would recommend anywhere near Appleton. Heck, I'd go as far as to say all of northeastern Wisconsin, since it also beats any of the ones I've tried in the greater Green Bay area. I love coming here! I moved out of the area, but every time I come visit family & friends, I try to get to AmberLulu. They have a great menu! I stopped in today, and I think one of the two employees there was new. They said my drink would take a little longer because they were making a fresh batch of tea or tapioca or something, but I didn’t mind the wait! There are tables, barstool seating by the windows, and a couple of beanbag chairs, and I wasn’t in a rush so it was really nice to just relax in the atmosphere while I waited. Also, every time I go there, it seems like there are only 1-2 workers… kudos to them! I never mind waiting because I remember working customer service jobs and being understaffed. The workers do an amazing job, and they’ve always been super nice to me! Definitely a gem...

I’ve been trying to get ahold of a manager from uni uni for weeks. No one has returned my call despite taking my information down twice. I ordered a gift card from uni uni online but it wasn’t until after I purchased that it indicated that it was the Wisconsin location.
