Needed to have lunch catered for a Memorial Service/Celebration of Life. This event included a full Military Honors Funeral Service with the US Army, American Legion riflers, buglers playing TAPS, and a Lutheran Pastor present. It was also 82 degrees with the sun out and only 12PM-noon, so we just wanted (elevated) cold sandwiches and salads. And Copper Rock was really great. People were asking throughout, "Where'd you get the food?—All of it was so delicious!" Beforehand, we bought to try each of the items we would order for a 50 person breakfast and lunch. Every item was perfect, so we ordered each item we tried for the event. When everything arrived, the coffee was fresh and piping hot, the breakfast was freshly-made, the lunch boxes were perfect and very cold e.g. mayo-based Chicken Salad sandwiches as if it were made immediately-to-order, and the beverages were ice-cold. We kept the sandwiches boxed in an air-conditioned landing for three hours. When we set them out, they were still cold and fresh. Every meal and salad was as good as ordering in their cafe. Corbin managed the A+ process for us from initial discussion, through the simple ordering process, and delivery for us. The prices were better than local caterers we've tried before. However, we felt Copper Rock's recipes and execution were on another level from the other caterers we had tried before. The difference being between a catered, recognizable chicken salad sandwich and one from Copper Rock—where each bite impresses, makes you pause, you enjoy the whole thing, actually finish it, and continue to think about it. I'm still thinking about it! The idea for cold sandwiches from Copper Rock came to us from just my mom and I having lunch together. We just wanted soup and a half sandwich. We also tried their quiche and coffee. Everything was excellent. So we called to ask about catering and Corbin took care of everything. He is first-rate-skilled at this process. In my opinion, the only review that really matters to me is that I would absolutely order through them again. Everything came out exactly as told it would. Even the fruit they used were so delicious and fresh. Everyone was talking about it. It was food everyone actually wanted to eat! And there were lots of different tastes there including all ages. So, Thank You Corbin, staff, and Copper Rock for doing everything you could for us to make this day go very smoothly. Also, thank you for your kind words to our family during this difficult time. It's great to have you in our community. I wish I had thought to take photos of the food, but I did not. But here are a few photos of military honors before lunch.

My boyfriend went here for lunch and also wanted to bring me some food at home. He ordered me the Turkey Avocado sandwich and a lotus energy drink. He specifically asked them to add no ice to the drink because he was taking it to me a couple hours later, and asked that they make my sandwich later, which they agreed to. When they gave him his food, they brought out my drink with ice in it and gave him my sandwich right away. When he finally brought it home, it was the Turkey sandwich, with no red onions or avocado which is the best part and the only reason I ordered it. He said he knew he ordered the turkey avocado because he pulled the image up on his phone and when ordering it he said avocado funny. He also noted that the cashier was not very friendly, so luckily he didn't leave a tip. Also, when he asked to switch out his chips for a different flavor (they have unopened bags of chips on a rack next to the register) they said "we'd prefer if you didn't." Finally, this is unrelated but I've said it before on my review, their espresso drinks are never the correct temperature.

On my quest to hit up as many local cafes as possible this summer, I of course had to try Copper Rock and I'm so disappointed in myself for not stopping here before! I had stopped at the location by Appleton North a few times years ago, but only ever the drive through. This was so much better. The environment of cafes downtown just hit different, and I loved everything about my stop in at Copper Rock. I really loved the gallery room, and I think it's great that they have board games available to play in the gallery room too. Of course their coffee and baked goods are great too. The texture of my scone was absolutely perfect; not too hard, not too soft, and the perfect level of chewy. I will be coming back here repeatedly

This is a nice coffee shop in downtown Appleton. My first visit here I was surprised by how big it was on the inside. There are a lot of tables to sit at. You place your order at the bar and then if you get food they give you a number and bring it out to you.

Coffee- All the coffee blends I have had have been delicious. They have a bar where you can add cream and sugar.

Food- The food is all typical coffeehouse food but they also have quiche that is delicious. All the baked goods are tasty as well.

Service- I have been here a few times and the service is always really, really slow. Not sure how they can improve on the speed of service but even getting a black coffee on a Saturday morning takes 15-20 minutes. The staff is fantastic though so it makes up for the long wait.

This is one of my favorite coffee shops and I will continue to come here. Just be ready for a wait if you...
