Really wanted to like this place. I've been looking for good perch in the area. Indoors was crowded. Outdoors looked inviting, so thats where we went. Someone Was smoking out there so we hoped that they would leave soon. We sat at the table full of dirty dishes for 15 minutes before someone came to check on us. There were 3 waitresses, 2 of which debated amongst themselves, which was going to be our waitress. It took them another 15 minutes to decide which one would be our waitress and to clear off the dirty dishes. They finally decided and one of the waitresses took our drink order. She never did wipe off the table. So we ordered water and napkins so we could do it ourselves. Another 15 minutes went by until the waitress came back to take our food order. The smokers were gone and we'd wasted this much time already, so we decided to place the order. By this time we noticed that another group of three people came in and they were dealing with all the same issues as we had. And then another table lit up their cigarettes. Apparently it hadn't been just one person breaking the rules because they have actually have ashtrays. Dont even know if it's legal where they serve food in Wisconsin. Regardless, not appetizing! We finally got out our order. Perch was good, kinda thick batter tho. Burger was good but little greasy. Frys were good. At this point we were so ready to leave. That is when the smoker table decided to complain about something. So the next thing you know, all the staff was out there to dote on them. Delaying the process of us getting our bill. Terrible experience, we...
Read moreWe walked in and asked what they had on tap because we were at a high top. Bartender looked annoyed and wouldn't even give us a list. They have no printed beer list so we had to guess until we found something we liked. Don't bother with any of the stouts btw. Bartender knew nothing about beer. Zero. Couldn't answer a single question we had and when we ordered a Boston Lager, she didn't know what we were talking about. We had seen the label, ordered it by name and she looked at us like we were crazy until we said, "Samuel Adams". A terrible bartender with no product education? Nice!
The guests were unfriendly and oddly enough the bar was full of Seahawks fans? We were confused as well lol. Service was barely existent, had to chase a bartender down before we could get served in a nearly empty bar and every single time we needed a beer after that.
Food came out cold, very cold! My husband ate his because he was super hungry and I waited an additional 30 minutes for my cheese steak. The cooks look like homeless people walking in and out of the kitchen so I didn't expect much from them honestly. Just dirty, unkept and really unfriendly looking. It was uncomfortable between the dirty looks from the kitchen before we even ordered, the terrible service and the manager who was screeching through the bar from out of the office.
If you want to go, just don't expect...
Read moreOverall, we still love the food, atmosphere, staff and friends here. However, I feel as if this particular night, the people ordering delivery may have had better food than those of us who decided to dine in. It was not overly busy inside. It didn't appear like they were understaffed for the crowd. I will note, the kitchen staff was not who I have usually seen back there when we've dined in before. This evening stop, we brought 2 other couples from out of town with us to dine in and enjoy some adult beverages. As I sat there, I watched plated food backing up at the window for 5, 10, 15, almost 20 minutes as drivers waited for, and received their packaged food. Four of our 6 meals arrived at our table with cold fries, and most of our sandwiches were warm, barely above room temperature when all of our food delivered to our group. I may have been willing to accept this lesser quality from a delivery order, but I definitely did not anticipate this coming from a dining in experience. Our waitress immediately replaced our fries for all orders. I'm certain our next visit will be back up to our...
