What a great addition to the Fox Valley! I absolutely loved the food. Today was the first official day of business and after enjoying lunch 45 minutes after they opened, I returned for dinner with family members. I will certainly be back! This may Tomaso’s may have captured my preferred pizza preference for the Fox Valley on their very first day. Before getting into the food, let me just say that for being the first 7 hours of business in Appleton, they had everything operating as if they had been around for many years. On day one, the servers knew exactly how to handle the crowd/ questions about the menu/ and great service; the food was incredible… not only great at noon but also at the end of day. So good!

Ok, let’s talk about the food! I wish I would have tried more appetizers, I had the cheese bread and it was delightful! The bread had a perfect crunch on the outside and then a nice soft chew to it, wonderful garlic and the cheese was oh so good!

As we talk about the pizza, let me mention something about the crust. You choose between thin or deep dish. The thin is a light and crispy cracker style crust that does not leave you bloated or feeling like you just ate a dense load of bread. Oh no my friends, it is delicious and invites you to finish every bit of the crust. The deep dish seems like it uses multiple layers of the same crust which again is crispy and light without any of the bloating that typically follows a pizza outing. Let’s also discuss the sauce. This sauce is NOT acidic! Why do I stress that? It means no need for an antacid during or after your pizza. Now that is a huge deal the way I see it! The sauce is fresh, like super fresh. These tomatoes are going from vine to the sauce without sitting on a shelf for days. I generally like a little kick to my sauce but with all the fresh ingredients, the sauce was perfect as is! These tomatoes crust and sauce are unlike anything else in the area, truly unique and worthwhile in its own.

At lunch I stopped in with coworkers and I had the lunch special personal thin crust with sausage, mushroom, and garlic. Important note: the cheese is on the bottom, then sauce, and then toppings. At first you might think you received a pizza without cheese, but do not fret, this is the way it’s done here and it really is good! Our table also ordered the Margarita (fantastic), and a personal lunch size deep dish of cheese and sausage. So good!

I returned with some family members for dinner and we ended up have a sausage and cheese deep dish, a sausage/ mushroom/ garlic deep dish, and a Greek thin crust. The two deep dish pizzas stood on their own from one another. The sausage and cheese truly had the sausage and mozzarella on full display and you can taste that the sausage is high quality and different that anywhere else in town, bravo! The other deep dish bright the garlic to the forefront and the sausage and fresh mushrooms balanced out the flavors. Our Greek was excellent, such a great crunch to the crust and a pleasant mix of artichoke, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, onion, and olives. The sun dried tomato added the acidity back into the pizza, and the artichoke was not too powerful.

If I were limited to only choosing one of these great pizzas, I’d say to get the deep dish and something classic, like sausage and cheese. Perhaps I’d ask for oregano to be sprinkled on at the end (just something I personally enjoy, this pizza doesn’t need any additives). Some people may say that they are not a fan of deep dish… but this is not like any other deep dish. Nor does it take as long to cook. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. What a great pleasure it was to experience such high quality on an opening day of business. I look forward to my next...

Love the atmosphere, The servers were great, the drinks were delicious and The Food was…PHENOMENAL! There was a bit of a wait but I can see why ;) You can get put on the wait list though, and they give you live updates and text you when they are ready to seat you! We were able to leave for a bit and come right back! My only regret was coming with someone who didn’t have much of an appetite LBVS. As a result, I ate almost the entire Bruschetta appetizer by myself and one 1/2 pieces of the 16” pizza! Both were so heavenly and everything I hoped they would be! They have Loon Juice Cider which is a favorite of mine ( only it was in a can and I’ve only ever had pints of it from the tap). Then I tried the grapefruit Mimosa which was also great, only it was much smaller than a photo I saw prior to going here? This restaurant is wheel chair accessible even offering a low bar area for wheelchair customers! The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food and the service that you receive! I do believe the owner even stopped by our table 2x to see how our experience was going! My goal was to see if I like this place better than Cranky Pats pizza…and flavor wise I sure do! There are some aspects that I still love about Crankys but it’s safe to say that Tomaso’s is my new favorite Pizza Joint and it’s so much closer to my home! Their Grand opening is in a few days (8/13/25 Wednesday )and they will be having some food and...

I can’t stop thinking about this pizza!!!

We spotted Tomaso’s while heading to the new library and immediately put it on our calendar to try. So glad we did! This past Friday, we walked over and found the place buzzing. All the tables were full, but we were seated at the bar right away with no wait.

The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, which made a great first impression. The menu is refreshingly simple but still offers plenty of great choices. We came for the thin crust pizza and went with a medium, topped with our two favorites: sausage and green olives. We definitely could’ve done a small, but we’re not complaining because we left with delicious leftovers!

We also started with the cheese curds (crispy, golden perfection), had fountain sodas, and finished with a tiramisu to-go… all of it was fantastic.

The environment is super clean, modern, and inviting. We walked, so we can’t speak to the parking situation but this will absolutely be our new go-to pizza spot. Highly recommend...
