A bad perm my son had at this salon. My son was there on April 9 to get body waves for his hair. The owner Yidi did a bad job. She did not put enough perm rods onto the crown even my son had thick hair. She only put four rods on the crown/middle section. She grabbed so thick hair for each rod. That was why my son hair didn't get enough waves. After 48 hours since he had the perm, he shampooed his hair, and the hair turned out so straight and flat, no volume at all. He only had a tiny bit waves at the tips of his hair. I had to buy him shampoo, conditioner, style cream to give it some support but the result was disappointed. They charged me $120 for the bad job. I asked for refund but they ignored my request. Oh by the way, since you responded to my review, I want to ask you if you see the curl on the photo below is a C curl shaped, is that what you call a perm, a perm with no curl or body wave? And since the curl is too flat, there is nothing you can’t do to make it lift. Are you kidding me? You made my son feel so sad because he was so excited to get the perm at your salon. My stylist Mandy was so kind and talented. I did not get a haircut for over 2 years because my last stylist completely devastated my hair. Mandy is the only stylist I know who can get my super thick, and straight Asian hair to look good, and feel good. Beautiful interior and very skilled hair stylists! I had a hair cut disaster and came to their salon last second and the owner was already on the highway but turned back just to help me which meant so much! She was very sweet and made sure to check if the length she was cutting was okay. I felt so cute afterwards and was so relieved because my previous haircut was… not it.
