⭐ 1-Star Review

I had a terrible experience at El Toro and honestly regret spending a single dollar there. We paid over $200 for two people and left completely disappointed — and worse, sick.

To start, we weren’t even served chips and salsa, which is basic at any decent Mexican restaurant. When our food finally came out, it was a disaster. The steak didn’t taste right — it had an odd flavor like it had been sitting out too long. The mashed potatoes tasted stale and old, like they had been reheated from a previous day. Nothing on the plate was fresh or flavorful.

After eating, my stomach immediately started feeling off. I had to run to the restroom multiple times — five to be exact — and felt like I had full-blown diarrhea. I don’t know what they’re serving, but it did not sit well with me at all.

Spending over $200 for this kind of experience is unacceptable. Not only was the food bad, but it also made me physically ill. I won’t be coming back, and I strongly advise others to think twice before...

This place was Horrible they took forever to take our order over an 1. We would order a drink and it would take them for ever to bring. The restaurant was empty, they only had about two waitress and they were both super slow. I asked for a water and never got it. we placed an order for food and the food took forever I got my plate, 20 min later my friend got hers and my husband never got his food. The waitress came to the table to tell us that everybody in the kitchen had called in and they only had one cook & that my husbands food was coming. Another 20 min passed another table got their food and my husband never got his. My husband was super upset and then told me to just cancel his ended up canceling the food. Our bill was 300 for a very horrible experience for a bill that high I was expecting better service and better food. WILL...

Worst experience ever .. … they said they had fresh oysters… 🦪 and the came they were the most nasty color and smell… and when I asked the waitress to please ask the cook why the oyster don’t look fresh … the cook try to look cool or as if he is funny .. or trying to impress the waitress by being funny… he laughed and said maybe the need a splash off water … I knew I should of walk out because even my 6 year old sons children quesadilla was super salty with shrimp or fish flavorer because the cook did clean the grill before….. but the fact that the cook turned it into a joke to impress Alejandra was the worse part… she felt so bad for me and my son .. I advised not to ever go eat here around 6pm on Thursday… .. the cooks disrespect was...

When you walk in, the 50ft tv screen is the first thing you see. They just opened so it wasnt very busy, but once more people find out about this place I can imagine it'll be hard to get through the door! My friends and I ordered a mojito, margarita, and a mixed drink as well as the LMP shot. All the drinks were very good. The food? Amazing. They had a free wing special going on so we got to try 2 different versions of the Korean wings. The brisket bomb and fried pickles were on HH are both VERY good. The aioli on the fried pickles was niceeee. Both the kitchen manager and front of house manager stopped by to talk to us and tell us about the business. I think it's a great Rival to Texas Live. Didn't even have to pay to park ;)

YES! First of all, we were the first ones in the restaurant and sat down at the bar. The place is an all-out sports bar. The only shot I would give is that they need more big screens. I did not get the bartender's name, but the service was very good and with a smile (it matters). Second of all, the chef, Randy!!! The cook just started the fryers, so he sent out complimentary chips and queso while we waited for our food, which was very thoughtful. The presentation of everything was awesome, and all of the food tasted very good 🔥. The food was on point, and it looked like he took his time fixing it and preparing it. We'd definitely be back and hope that all of the chefs are as great as he was!

I traveled from Houston to see an artist on Friday, July 20th. To begin with, they charge $20 for "VIP" self-parking. The staff was very nice and we sat at the bar area because they charged $300-$500 for just a table in the front by the stage without bottle service, which is pointless. The bartenders were extremely nice and attentive but the manager in the photo was beyond rude and disrespectful to his staff. It was not that busy for him to be screaming and rude to them. At one point he told a bartender to just leave, clock out, and just go home because she tried to help another bartender out! Not sure why they charged a "large party fee" when it was just 2 of us.
