Being native Hawaiian (Kanaka) living here on the main land Hawaiian Bros is the closest I can get to my aina and kaukau on some ono kine grindz. My husband took me to a Hawaiian Bros for the first time while in Wichita Falls, Texas. During my commute for work to DFW I decided to relive the great experience I first had in Wichita Falls. In mid February 2025 I placed a delivery order through the website w/ a third party. Unfortunately, after my food was delivered to my commuter hotel I was disappointed to receive my food cold to the touch and the rice very mushy especially in my spam musubi. I ended up ordering the regular size mixed plate (2 choices) their version of hulihuli chicken and kalua pork w/ rice n mac salad with Hawaiian Sun drink Lilikoi Passion and a side order of fresh pineapple. Again whoever made the rice put too much water which resulted to it being mushy and not a pleasant texture. I ended up tossing it. This time the huli huli chicken and kalua pork were both dry not as good as my first experience. If it wasn't for Hawaiian Bros house teriyaki and pineapple bbq sauce (so ono by the way) I probably would had not been able to eat my meal and jus end up throwing it all away. Authentic Hawaiian food, no...but "inspired" by authentic Hawaiian aina..., has potential jus wasn't on their game during this visit here n DFW. If I can't go back home to da islandz or even have the time to make da kine in my own kitchen this comes close but needs consistency.

The food was hot and fresh and delicious. I ordered the mini barbecue dish because I wasn't for sure if I would like it. I did like it and I guess I regret it not having ordered the full serving. I would have liked to have just a little bit more chicken. The macaroni salad it's not my favorite. It's not bland it's just not seasoned enough for my liking. But okay. The canned drink was fruity and refreshing. I don't think they season their rice, which I guess is okay for someone watching their sodium. But I would have liked to have it seasoned just a little bit to compliment the chicken. The chicken was juicy and had a nice sweet barbecue flavor. I ordered this through doordash which of course has an upcharge, so because I paid so much I was a little disappointed at the portion size even though it is the mini size. I would have been satisfied with the amount that I paid for it. But in the future I would definitely order a full size to make it worth it. Automatic 5 stars for service and atmosphere because I ordered through doordash, and did not visit the location. I just got back in town from a 2 week pet sit job and I was much too tired to cook, so this meal hit the spot, I just wished it was bigger. The seasoned vegetables made up for the volume of food that I needed to stay fueled up for my next pet job. They taste like regular seasoned veggies to me. Didn't have anything particularly Hawaiian about them. Overall, a good meal.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Just to start it off Marco and Ming where amazing this place is definitely in the books, now to the experience at Hawaiian Bros. This is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the warmest aloha spirit that sets the tone for an incredible dining experience. The menu is simple but packed with flavor, offering a taste of authentic Hawaiian comfort food that you won’t find anywhere else. The Huli Huli Chicken is tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with that signature sweet and savory glaze. The Kilauea Chicken brings just the right amount of heat, and the Luau Pig is a melt-in-your-mouth delight. Every dish is accompanied by generous portions of fluffy white rice and their refreshing macaroni salad, which is the perfect complement to the rich flavors of the meat. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, with a clean, casual vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff is always friendly and attentive, ensuring that your meal is nothing short of fantastic. And don’t forget to try their Dole Whip for dessert – it’s a sweet, tropical finish to a perfect meal. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, Hawaiian Bros delivers a consistently great experience that keeps me coming back for more. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of the islands!
