There is this one employee, Heng, is the rudest employee there. I don't know a single person who enjoys his presence either employee nor customer. Heng is always on his phone and barks orders at the other baristas, even when it's busy. He blasts the music so loud it's hard to hear. He's done this multiple times and I recorded it last time because I wasn't even at the stand, sitting at a table, and it was hard to talk to anyone. Heng PURPOSELY made my iced hazelnut shaken espresso, and used COFFEE instead of expresso. Any time her makes my drinks, he does it wrong and they taste awful and have to get them remade that I have to ask another barista to remake it. At this point, I just always request he does NOT touch my order. I always have to wait extra long to wait for an opportunity for another barista to make my coffee. When paying nearly $7 for a drink, the last thing I want is an incompetent barista to make it wrong every single time. While waiting for my coffee, he is also so rude to the customers. Other customers have complained about his attitude and laziness while waiting for their coffees as well! I've watched him take coffees to trade out for a coke zero bottle at another store while it was extremely busy. I will be complaining to the district manager because the manager of the store isn't doing anything about Heng. The other baristas are wonderful, pleasant, and make my drink right every time.
On the other hand, Tewabech makes the best coffee there. She is beyond sweet, caring, and exceptionally great worker. Sasha, Brandon, and Kelsey are all great baristas too and make it worth coming to that location. I feel bad that they have to put up with Heng every single day, because I can barely stand him and I don't even work there.
Service is about a 4 and atmosphere a 5 when Heng isn't there. Whenever he's gone, my review will...
Read moreThis Starbucks provides the absolute worst service of any I have visited. Since I work in the area, I have tried many times to give them a break, but it is beyond hope. (There is one shorter lady who has been there for a long time who at times in the past has tried to provide good service, but I think even she may have given up.)
Most recently there was a women with a dog standing in front of and hanging over the area where the take out orders are placed. When I suggested she and her dog move she went off on me about how her dog was a service dog and did I want to see the papers and basically berating me for being a dog hater. She then went behind the kiosk to conspire with one of the workers (her boyfriend?), pointing at me as she went. I was concerned that there would be some sort of retribution waged on my coffee or breakfast sandwich.
This morning I went to the nearby McDonalds and was greeted with a smile. As for this Starbucks,...
Read moreThese five stars go specifically to Eli ! My friend and I had a taste for coffee yesterday and decided to stop by Starbucks on the way out of the mall. It was 7 minutes before closing- the baristas are obviously cleaning and preparing to close. I saw a young man outside of the station moving about so i asked him if it was too late to get coffee how about he blatantly ignored my several attempts to inquire. His body language said it all basically " Hell no, we are getting ready to close", smh . So, we walked over to the register and asked another gentleman whom I believe his name was Eli. Eli had a completely different disposition. He took our order with no contentions. Eli was inviting and pleasant executing quality customer service. Thank you Eli :) . And for the record, we would have been fine if the other guy would have responded that they were closed and no longer serving drinks...
