I was at the Ice Staking Rink. I'm a Starbucks Gold member, and I know that they have filtered water at no charge. I was very thirsty.
I know they were likely closed, but the railing was not down, I noticed that they were picking up, but I simply wanted ice water, which required little to no effort. Plus, even security and a few others went in. They're obviously biased on who they give their time to.
So I asked the young lady in my photo, which I took on my way out from skating, if I could have some. She responded, no.
I thought she was joking, so I responded by saying, "Hey, I thought you guys weren't supposed to say no" ( I worked at Starbucks during college). I laughed because I was joking and thought she was too.
But then I asked her if she was serious. She said, "we're closed." I felt a little embarrassed as there were a few people listening in on our conversation.
So I let it go and decided I write this very thought-out review and give my feedback.
She is not Starbucks material. Its simple. Water is always running. Ice is always available, and the cups stay there overnight. There was no effort required. She was just being a brat. The interaction was embarrassing and pretty inhumane. Especially for a place that is suppose to be accepting of all people.
Sincerely,
An upset, loyal,...
Read moreThis location is okay. I picked up a mobile order that a friend had put in while she was working in the mall & I had been shopping shopping around. Her drink was supposed to be iced, but it came as a hot drink instead, I didn't know that until I got to my friend's store & she mentioned it. But she did like how her drink tasted.
My drink was correct, a sugar free latte but even though I did order a hot drink... it was almost lukewarm. It's not like I had picked our order up significantly later than the anticipated pickup time, I got there like two minutes after than what was expected. A bit disappointing on my end - I don't know if my friends was also the same temperature.
They weren't really busy, actually no one was in line & it looked they didn't have any drinks to make as none were being made. I looked over to the staff so I could confirm those were our drinks before grabbing them since I hadn't but to this one before & to say thank you, but I wasn't acknowledged & the two associates were just chatting away. It didn't hurt my feelings, but I don't know... sometimes I just think of basic customer service & acknowledgement of customers as something...
Read moreToday I was at the mall, and I decided to do my usual Starbucks break. I bought a Grande Cotton Candy Frap. and a piece of iced lemon cake, which I may add was delicious. As usual I got my drink perfectly but it took like 10 minutes because they had it just sitting on the counter while they made other people's drinks. When I got to the register, my total was $5.02 and I told the idiot cashier that I wanted the cake paid for with cash, and the drink on my gift card, and he said, OK no problem. So tell me why, when I got home, I decided to randomly check into my card account for Starbucks and see that there was $5.02 missing from my card. Immediately, my first instinct was to check the receipt, but after checking my pockets, I realized the idiot cashier didn't give me one. So basically, after about 5 minutes of looking at my balance history, I realized what happened... he charged me twice for the cake... basically he charged me for the cake on the card, and in cash. So today I lost $7.77 instead of the appropriate amount, $5.02. Never going there again, and I don't think you should either, unless you want to be charged more...
