Edited on 06/18/2024 after an order placed this day This location has such a hard time making itself look good. Two of us attempted to place the tuesday drop order and discount today. Only one of us had the app allow the code to work. In a separate app the code was applied but the discount was never applied. Therefore it rang up at regular over $5 price and since it was not ringing up right, that order was cancelled and one of us didn't get the deal today. That part isn't the locations fault. This next part happened while I waited for my order to be prepared. A person ahead of me got called up for their order to be ready. An employee met him away from the counter, handed him the food bag and gave him a fist bump while wearing sanitary gloves. They exchanged words and the employee dashed back to the preparation station and began making the next order up without removing the gloves that became unsanitary after bumping knuckles with a customer. This was right before 7:30 pm 06/18/2024. Check the cameras and make sure your employees put on clean gloves when preparing peoples food. That is pretty nasty. No one knows where those hands were. Previous order review from 06/11/2024: Two of us decided to take part in the Tuesday Drop special. It requires signing up in the app. Then being allowed to purchase discounted items during a limited time every Tuesday. Sometimes it is merchandise, most times it is a food item. On 6/11/24 it was a "cheesy gordita crunch" normally around $5 for a discount of $1 + tax. It sounded like a good deal to try the item. Two of us got one each through our app. We placed the order to go, got home ready to eat and BAM(!) jaw dropping disappointment. I was shocked because the portions were non-existent. The meat was barely there, the lettuce and cheese was barely there. It didn't even fill the taco shell halfway. If the purpose behind the Tuesday Drop is for customers to experience items at a discount then the portions should not be minimalized next to nothing because of the discount. This item normally sells for over $5 w/tax. If I were to pay $5 for what we received today I would've demanded it be remade. Last year when I expressed the huge difference between the advertised photos and the actual portions I was told by a manager that the portions of food were dictated by the company. Each portion is allegedly weighed out. This happened while I had issues with this location last winter using a Nacho Fry Pass. Which is not worth the discount because the portions of fries you receive are always underwhelming. Otherwise, out of the four Taco Bell locations along (1) Collins St, (2) Cooper St, (1)I-20/Green oaks, the Collins St location is sanitarily the cleanest. The Cooper St locations have employees who don't prepare the food sanitarily. Either touching their pants, their ear buds or playing on their phones in between making orders without washing hands or changing their sanitary gloves. The I-20/Green Oaks location will just mock you out of sight from their preparation area and then laugh about you requesting an item be remade. Like they find it amusing that you are not happy with their nonchalant preparation of a product that they could care less about. Which makes me nervous because you cannot see them prepare the food so you don't know what they are doing or if what they are doing is why they are laughing. It's really disappointing because nobody takes pride in their work anymore. Companies view customers as expendable and employees have no ambition or incentive to do a good job. In summary, if you insist on having taco bell the N Collins location is the most sanitary but portions are not worth the discounted or regular price charged. I am a firm believer that the photo advertisements should adequately represent the items customers receive. Otherwise I believe it is false advertising and/or bait and switch. All for the fact that we customers are not receiving what we are shown/told we are buying. The prices keep going up while the portions keep going down. That's a recipe for disaster.

We were but poor refuges looking for shelter when we stumbled across a warm safe place from the Storm raging outside. We looked inside at the warm dry employees and they looked back at the 30+ people with sadness and water in their eyes. We played rock paper scissors with the employees through the glass. If we won, we were let inside. We won 2/3 rounds securing a place for us to wait out the mother of all storms. However there was still one obstical in the way... the Manger. The employees pleaded to the manager to let us inside as we had won fair and square but what they didn't realize was Karen had become the Manger. The beast denied our request for shelter and to rub it in, the employees started doing the Take the L dance from Fortnite. Truly a disgraceful place not even worthy of my 1 star.

Ordered online and the new app had issues which was fine but being a Kitchen Manager at a resturant i understand how it is to get orders correct for "guests" but this experience was all horrible. I got charged for salsa wasnt in my box. I was given drinks and no straws asked for them and was "dismissed" "their in the box" only one straw... I waited to ask for another one but the employee had to send The manager who told me her name was "Tracy" i asked for no lettuce on my order but was concerned to let my food go back. As CDC states no romaine i get mine is iceberg as i use that in my business but for safety i ask for no lettuce. I hope this gets taken care of. Very sad great food, but poor customer service... More like a chore than a job that pays them.

Placed my order online. Waited in the lobby for my order, decided to dine in. Separated all my items, noticed there was a chalupa. No biggie it happens, went to let them know it was missing. The cook walked up to the counter not even making eye contact asked what I needed, I told her I was missing the item. She asks the expediter Ron where the chalupa was, he said the bottom of the bag, I so oh I didn’t see it, went back to check. Nope still missing the item, I then go back up to say it’s not in the bag, Rob then comes with me to count my items as well. He mistaken a Crunchwrap for a chalupa, then says the cheesy Gordita crunch (which was made wrong) was the chalupa. Opened the Gordita crunch, he then says there it is. I said “no that’s a cheesy Gordita crunch & since when does it come with tomatoes?” He proceeds to tell me with a bit of sass “it’s always come that way & oh it seems we did miss it.” Uhhhhh little did him & his cook know I used to work at Taco Bell, so I know the wrappers & the way things are made. Rudest experience I’ve had at a Taco Bell. Normally they are real quick to fix their mistakes at any Taco Bell. Not this one, pretty much the entire night crew were loud...

Took my 3 young kids here and ordered through the app for 2 of them. Got it and took it to Panda Express where I got food for me and the 3rd, and we all ate inside there. Realized when taking everything out of Taco Bell's bag that we were missing 2 out of 3 of my 4 year old's items. Decided to just wait until after we ate what we had before loading them all back up in the car and would get the missing items on the way home. Got back to Taco Bell drive thru with my receipt and the manager asked if I had my bag, even though I already had my receipt. Showed her the bag and she asked if she could see it. I told her it's got leftover Panda Express in it now, and she said "Oh, you didn't realize for an hour that you were missing the food?" Very frustrating, especially given the amount of times the chain has forgot part of our order. Im usually ordering for 6, so it's pretty difficult to double check what they give me every time, and usually I don't realize until I get home. For them to make a mistake and suggest I'm doing something shady is mildy...
