I experienced poor management here more than once. It's to the point that my husband and I drive out of our way to go to the Bedford location to avoid another poor/stressful experience.
Years ago one of the managers physically pushed customers out of the restaurant on a busy day where they were booked. I was so appalled it took me years to even want to step foot into this location again.
I gave it another chance because my husband loves wings so much. We dined in a few times and usually had to wait a while before being greeted and service was usually slow. We started ordering out to avoid that and did so without too much trouble for a year or so. One of the online orders I made after they changed things on the app went horribly wrong. I definitely clicked to have ranch on my order as you get a couple free with wings anyways (apparently it didn't pop up on our ticket). We go in to pick up the order and we realize there is no ranch. The young lady at the counter was nice and went to grab it for us when her manager stormed out from the back with a huge attitude. (From what I know from working in restaurants myself, she was probably the kitchen manager). Anyways, she starts hitting the computer with her card which I realized later was to look up our order. She starts in at us without introducing herself and saying how we didn't order ranch. She pretty much yells at us saying we have to pay $0.25 per ranch. At this point we already have our food in our hands and the employee had already handed the ranch to my husband which I didn't realize at the time (so we were essentially arguing for no reason). I try to pull up the app to show her that it was an error in the system but it got hard to focus with her yelling the whole time. I ended up saying forget it because she literally told me she didn't care. At this point I felt so disrespected that I told my husband let's just leave (I thought we left without the ranch but we got it at least). I was so mad because we got home and realized they also gave us old wings that clearly sat for a while because some were warm and others were cold and old tasting. I was also upset that she was so rude, didn't give me a chance to explain anything, and was willing to throw away loyal customers for some 25 cent ranch.
I reported the situation to corporate and wasn't even as honest with them as I should have been because I didn't want her to get fired...just corrected. With her temper, I was also concerned that we got the sweet employee in trouble. They gave my number to the general manager to explain the situation to but I missed his initial call. I called back several times and could never get a hold of him.
I refuse to step foot in this location again. It is the worst customer service in a restaurant that I have ever experienced. Part of me wants to stop going to Bdubs altogether but other locations are perfectly fine plus the wings great (extra crispy preferred). But still a part of me gets angry when I go there because of the things that the Arlington location gets away with. They really should...
Read moreAbsolutely unacceptable customer service — avoid this location. On the night of August 5, 2024, I placed a pickup order through Uber Eats for Buffalo Wild Wings at this location. What happened next was shocking and completely unprofessional.
A female employee working around 11 PM — she had black hair, tattoos, and ear piercings (unfortunately I did not catch her name) — gave our paid order to a random person without verifying the pickup details. When I called to address the issue, she answered the phone and immediately acted condescending, dismissive, and aggressively rude. She repeatedly called me “hun” in a mocking tone, refused to take any accountability, and acted as if the situation had nothing to do with her — despite admitting she gave the order to someone else. She then hung up on us.
When we called back, a male employee picked up the phone, but we could hear the same woman in the background yelling, “No, don’t answer!!” — clearly trying to avoid accountability. Thankfully, the man who answered was calm, respectful, and professional. He listened to our concerns, took the situation seriously, and assisted us in cancelling the order through Uber Eats and processing a refund.
My husband then drove to the restaurant to try to reorder in person. The same female employee was there and continued her hostile attitude. She falsely claimed that online pickup was closed (which was not true) and attempted to overcharge him by $10 for the same items. Her tone remained aggressive, combative, and blatantly disrespectful, so we walked out and did not place another order.
This experience was completely unacceptable. No customer should be treated with such hostility, especially after their order was mishandled. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy from this employee was shocking, and I strongly urge management to address her behavior immediately. She should not be in a customer service position because she has zero professionalism, zero accountability, and absolutely no respect for paying customers. Read moreMy coworkers and I just left this location. The service was really, really bad. We were seated in a timely manner, great. Then came the wait.... We waited 20 minutes for anyone to acknowledge that we were there awaiting service. And we were a party of 6 mind you, not hard to miss. As servers walked passed us and wouldn't look our way, we wondered if we would even get drinks. 25 minutes later we finally flagged our to be server. We gave our drink orders and ordered food at the same time, to save on time.. we thought. After we each ordered, 2 to 3 times each, because for some reason he wasn't getting it. Not putting our server down, it wasn't like we were ordering strange off the menu items. It was normal orders: wings, fries, ranch. 10 minutes later our drinks come...4 waters and a tea. There's 6 of us. So we were short a water, which did not come till 10 more minutes later, btw. When the food finally started to come out it was wings only. and only 4 of us received wings. no celery, no fries, not even ranch. Our server then disappears and when he finally comes out 10 mins later, we ask for the rest of our food. He then asks to take our order again!! apparently he did not get it all when he put the order in. So we ask can we speak to the manager. He says "the food will be no charge" and walks off. The manager then looks over at us from across the room and walks to the back.
