Edited to update: Pete was very caring & responsive to our negative experience, and swiftly took action by swapping the batch of cream from their supplier, as well as refunding us. I’m sorry it happened, but it seems like it was just a one off experience. Thank you & we wish you the best!

Original review: I’m not sure what happened…but I tried this place tonight with my family, and we all had the weirdest experience. We ordered 3 Avalanches of 3 different flavors, and a hot fudge Sundae. As I was about to eat mine, I caught a whiff of the whipped cream they put on top, and immediately felt disgusted. I’m not joking when I say it smelled like hot dogs, or some kind of meat that went bad. I checked multiple times to be sure. I even tasted it a little bit and it was just weird. 🤢 I immediately scraped the whipped cream off into the trash before we left. Then the ice cream itself was also just weird. I couldn’t even finish it, something was off. Myself and my entire family got nauseated from eating theirs and couldn’t finish either. I’m bummed because the pictures and the reviews looked amazing, but this was the weirdest ice cream experience I’ve ever had. I hope it was just an off night or something for you guys, but I think I’m too grossed out to...

Alright, so I’m not usually a soft serve person—it’s just never been my jam. But the fam wanted to hit up Power Cone, and let me tell you... whoa. Total game-changer. Hands down the best soft serve I’ve ever had. Like, cosmic-level good. 🌈✨

What really blew my mind was how clean and pure everything tasted—you can feel the good vibes in the ingredients. You just know there’s nothing funky going on behind the scenes, and they stand behind that promise.

Before we went in, I gave the ā€œno sprinklesā€ talk to the kids—food dyes turn them into wild little moonsprites. But lo and behold, Power Cone has dye-free sprinkles! Like, what?! That’s unicorn-level rare these days. The kids were stoked, we were stoked—everyone walked out smiling and sugar-smooth.

And the cherry on top? Pete, the owner, is just an all-around rad human. Super warm energy, like the kind of guy you’d wanna share a cone and a deep life convo with. I would even say he is ā€˜Most Excellent!’

Power Cone is officially our spot now. Arvada just got a little cooler. We will definitely be...

A Perfect Scoop in Old Town! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Power Cone in Old Town Arvada is an absolute gem, and deserves every one of these five stars! From the moment we walked up, we were greeted with some of the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. The staff was incredibly friendly, patient while we made our choices, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work. It made the whole experience even sweeter. And speaking of sweet, let's talk about the soft serve! Oh my goodness, it is utterly delicious. Creamy, rich, and perfectly chilled – exactly what you want on a warm day (or any day, let's be honest!). They have a great selection of flavors and toppings, ensuring there's something for everyone. My waffle cone was a masterpiece of deliciousness. Power Cone is a must-visit when you're in Old Town Arvada. Fantastic service and incredible soft serve combine for a truly delightful treat. We'll definitely be...
