Terra Nova Beer Co - Asheville — Restaurant in Asheville

Went here twice in the last week. The location is fantastic for downtown Asheville and there is even a small lot (if not full) for free parking for customers. The space is great - plenty of seating (although not much bar seating). The staff was friendly and helpful. The beer is solid and I appreciate the variety. The first time I went and had the pizza - it was delicious! Enjoyed it so much that I took a group of friends there on Monday after work for dinner - unfortunately, the pizza part (Mission) inside Terra Nova was only serving 2 food options and they were big squares of pizza and heavy on the bread. Both were absolutely delicious but we were disappointed they didn't have the regular menu to choose from and it just wasn't enough to feed our party of 4 (without just ordering more of the same). We were still hungry so decided to close our tab and go to the other Terra Nova location in Swannanoa to eat at their restaurant, The Loot House, which was delicious as always. We reserved the “front” room for a birthday – communication, scheduling, and price were all excellent. We were able to order food from Mission which came out throughout the evening in a perfectly timed manner (all of it was amazing and served a wide range of diets). We were able to choose beer for the 5 taps in the room and venture into the main room for everything else. We even had our own bartender who took excellent care of us the entire time. The layout of the space works so well and the open garage doors make it seem like you are almost outside (great tourist watching). The art, openness, furniture, food, beer and people all just gel in way such that the total experience is greater than the sum of the parts. You would be hard pressed to find a better place that has all Terra Nova has to offer for any event. See you...

Truly the BEST!! We hosted our wedding welcome party at Terra Nova last month and it was absolutely PERFECT! The team there is SO kind and easy to work with. They made planning a breeze, which is a big deal. The space itself is beyond ideal for a private event. The garage doors that open up give it an indoor/outdoor element, without having to stress about the weather. Rain or shine we had nothing to worry about. Also the downtown location allowed our guest to walk from their hotels if they wanted to, which was important to me. I don't love wedding weekends the require driving all over town, although Terra Nova has plenty of parking!! I should also note that their beer is really good!! Our guest had an amazing time and so did we! Having our welcome party here was one of the best decisions we made in planning...
