If I can give this place a zero star I would the security guard is rude he is the tall black guy he grab me when I told him my boyfriend is the dj and I'm his guest , he said he did not care , he act like a big bully and he was laughing at me the whole time while I was crying , this place sucks he is also a lier ,I would not recommend anyone going here , worst service ever I experience, exactly what the business mean trap doors..and i do not accept your apology because your not sorry and I was indeed his girlfriend , he would not even check or let me check to go get him my friend came outside and saw me so he went to go grab my boyfriend and he talk to you guys about it ,so there is no lieing there , i have never been that scared , and my boyfriend is half black and white so you cant say i was being racists, and i do not want to come...

The trap door is a great Phoenix rising from the ashes of Ashland's most legendary venues (the old vynil club) with great ambiance and seating. The lower ceiling actually give a nice classic speak easy feeling. With contemporary design and modern look.. great staff ambitious owner ship.. tasty craft cocktails and quality spirit selection. Amazing nibbles / menu items. Are youthful and edgy. With quality embedded in the choices that change with the seasons. Great spot very inclusive and open door to the world. I was a regular before the new owner, I used to love trap, I’ve spent thousands of dollars over the years but, the vibes of the bar have gotten really boring since the new owner has taken over. it was my first time in there since the ownership. The bright paint that caught your eye on the doors, has been covered up with a dull gray. A skeeball machine and pool table that people huddled around all night have been replaced with empty couches. There’s nothing to do in there now. Drink prices increases significantly, and old staff was fired and replaced. Don’t think I’ll go back...
