Beware, this place is up for sale, so they probably don't care anymore. They don't accept credit cards and want payment by cash or check before check-in. Now we can see why. Deborah, the owner dropped by when we checked in, but was generally unresponsive. The place may have once been nice, but it is pretty shabby, with old dusty, creeky furniture and none of the charm shown on the website. It is between two loud smokey bars and the Armory which had live rock music events while we were there, so getting sleep with all the noise was impossible. She claims that she is nearby, but when we called because of the smoke alarm, she didn't call back for three hours and then just told us to take the batteries out ourselves. We complained that the place reeked of a the gas smell and she said don't worry about it. Why is this woman in business! Even though we had rented the whole house for the weekend, she called us at 11am and demanded that we drop everything and move our things out immediately because she wanted to show the house to someone that afternoon. She had cleaners pack and move our stuff and had the gaul to ask us to pay for it. She whined and complained as our guests, including a 94 year old gentlemen, moved quickly things to accommodate her. Awful woman and an awful drafty old house and obviously does not care about her reputation. When I complained she hung up on me. Rude, arrogant woman, who should not be in business. Do not be fooled, this is not a B&B, just a house to rent on a loud, busy street, with no services and a whole lot...
