Beautiful resturant with open kitchen and sundries for sale. Ordered the F-Bomb and the Lamb and Chicken platter. The F-Bomb is advertised as having extra meat and falafel balls. If this is extra meat I would not order the standard meat gyros. I prefer Naan to the tortilla like wrap they use for their gyros. Mine had 1/2 salad inside but it did taste excellent. I think I found one falafel ball? There taziki sauce is thick and rich and on point. Their spicy sauce is OK, I would get it on the side so you can control your flavors. The lamb and chicken platter was excellent. It might be enough for two people if they gave you more naan. I requested extra taziki with the lamb and chicken platter and I’m happy I did. The Gyro was $12, a little to expensive for what I got. If it was more packed with meat it would have been a good deal. The Lamb and Chicken platter was $19, again a little expensive but they did give a good portion of delicious lamb and that is expensive stuff. If they gave 2 or 3 pieces of Naan it would be a fairer deal. Their flavors and spices are great. I will be back, just need to save my pennies...
Read moreGreat food. I had the F-Bomb. It was very large. I missed the note that the fries were inside of it. Looked like a burrito, tasty and flakey outside wrap. I added some yogurt sauce. The other food items we ordered looked great and they loved them.
Maybe add photos in a book or something of the food. I'm a visual person so I'd like to see what I'm ordering.
Parking was a bit of a hassle; not much space. No handicap parking so walking is troublesome.
Sound echos around. We sat next to 2 loud women and I couldn't hear most of the conversation right next to me. I've got no suggestions for that.
Tables looked great, maybe more of a normal height with chairs and cushions. Sitting on a wooden picnic bench for a long time started to hurt us all. (Ages 50-65)
Most people, just came to pick up and go, it seemed.
Great place...
Read moreWe have loved Xerxes for years, think the food is great, and the owners/staff have always provided great service, too. Sorry to report that today, both servers at the front counter were unmasked and when asked,, were steely in their resolve that they didn't want to or have to mask. One said: "We're a private business so we can do what we want." Well, we did what we want, which is to turn around and walk out. .Beyond too bad that, especially given the horrible covid numbers here, that they are not only putting themselves at risk, but all customers as well, and also violating current state guidelines. No more Xerxes for us until they...
