My family and I love Denny’s. However, this morning in our date morning, we didn’t appreciate our experience. Our waitress was very rushed. Understandable, places can be busy. However, she wasn’t kind in her being rushed either. She didn’t introduce herself, there was no Good Morning, nothing. All we received was, “what do you want to drink?” Then went to another table, came back to ours and took our drink order. Meanwhile, two other waitresses standing by the coffee machines were poorly talking about another employee and our waitress jumped in on it. Do we not understand that we are a team and if one link in our team is weak, you raise them up to strengthen it so the team doesn’t fail? Your waitresses our entire visit continued to tear this other waitress down. Our waitress at one point while serving people, raised her voice at the other waitress and said, “I already knew that and you should’ve been taking them tables.” Very rudely. The other waitress these girls had been talking about walked away clearly discouraged and embarrassed. Our waitress finally came back with our food after almost giving it to another table, hit me arm twice to get my attention and said. “This your food, right?” How am I suppose to know when you have the tray up in the air and I don’t know everything on your menu to even know what has been made on your plates? She shoved our plates in front of us and asked me what was wrong. I responded with, “I just didn’t know why you needed to touch me.” Because there was no reason for her to tap my arm the way she did to get my attention. She could’ve walked over and said, “excuse me but you ordered the blah blah blah, right?” She turned and walked away! Needless to say, I was not tipping which turns my guts because everyone needs to live however, I feel like everyone should be respected as well. Learn to work as a team and stop tearing others down. If you took your motivation and mixed it with that other poor waitress kind heart, you’d have a beautiful team. Instead you now have a discouraged and non-confident waitress and an entitled, rude and disrespectful waitress treating your customers like this. God Bless. We won’t return! Zatoria, please do better and be better for yourself, your team and...
Read moreI would give it zero stars if possible. I am a restraunt manager and am totally understand when it comes to food service but tonight was terrible. We went out and were seated at a dirty table asked multiple times for clean silverware and to be wiped down no one did it. We waited 15 minutes for someone to take our drink order. Which I get it was somewhat busy but not crazy our waitress comes takes one side of the tables drinks goes to walk away til I stop her. No apology and gave a little attitude even that I had stopped her. At this point I am still understanding. The next part I am not we get our food. And my son starts eating remind you he is two and has been waiting so he starts digging into his food as I cut it up and he already took 1 sasauge then I went to try to cut up the second one and its completely RAW. Raw sasauge. Working food serive and just not being an idiot I know that he could get very sick or even being so little die. I am still upset. Our waitress comes back I show her and I explain that I know its not her fault but I am upset. I ask to contact management she ignores me says that the kitchen has this problem alot, I mention how it should be a concern and I work in the food industry. She says she used to be a manger some where else and the food being raw isnt a big deal. She then ran away to the kitchen never came back to our table ended up going to the counter to pay. PAID for this un edible meal for my child. I pray to god the first one was cooked but if my child becomes sick this review will be the least of your worrys. I am very upset and tried calling multiple times just for no one to even pick up the phone. This used to be my favorite place to eat but after this I will not be returning. Managment needs to 1. Look into getting better help 2. If your waitresses cant handle their tables get more or get better ones 3. Learn food safty, if my child becomes sick I will be contacting state to do a full inspection because this is...
Read moreWe were visiting the area from three hours away and used online ordering two days in a row. The first day we opted for delivery to the hotel. It was for breakfast food both days. There was no butter on the first day, but we got ketchup? The second day, I did curbside pickup. The guy scolded me for indicating "in-store" pickup instead of curbside pickup. The ordering software gave no option to select curbside pickup. You never scold customers, and never ever blame customers for what the software doesn't do! I did after all call to say we were in a curbside pickup parking spot, told them which one, and asked for water since I'm not so sure online ordering gave me the option to add that (though I also didn't think of water until after the order was placed). So, it's not like I did not inform them we were there! It was very unpleasant to be scolded like that! I'm an adult customer, not your kid! While I got butter this second day, we got ketchup again for breakfast food? We also had four drinks (two chocolate milks, two waters), but no straws on just this second day. Otherwise, the food was good, correct in every other way, and despite them being busy, we got the food hot within good reasonable time frames both days. I don't know why there was powdered sugar the second day and not the first day, but that's no big deal. The main things are the no butter one day, ketchup for both days (odd for breakfast food, no hashbrowns), no staws on the second day, and being scolded for what isn't my fault (software flaw). I also had toast on the second day, but no jelly so that was...
