Their servers need some real training. When I'm being ignored or forgotten or just "left alone", five or ten minutes can feel like forever. I had no idea who our server was until she finally walked up to the table. Then she asked if we were ready or would we like more time. My wife and I both blurted "No! We're ready" before she left again. She suggested the sourdough cakes over the classic cakes, and they were worth trying, but after she dropped off our food and brought me more coffee, I never saw her again. She never asked if liked the sourdough cakes (I did); never checked if we wanted more coffee or water. I was wondering when she'd bring the check, then noticed it under the creamer caddy. She must have stuck it under there when she brought me that one coffee refill. She didn't even acknowledge it when she did it. I tipped about 18% but that's only because I'm in the restaurant business and can't bring myself to tip poorly no matter how neglected I feel. The servers here should be taught about check-backs and table touching. Just because we're not your table doesn't mean you can't smile and acknowledge us. Every table is your table. Every guest is your guest. I've been looking forward to this restaurant since the last time we were in Astoria years ago. Now I just feel disappointed and a little cheated having spent $60 for a meal I would have gotten for $30 at Denny's. Your food is better, but it ain't 2X better. You hurt my feelings...

Needed to stop somewhere for a quick lunch, and saw this place. Don't let the exterior fool you, this place is way larger inside than it looks! Really comfortable chairs, clean tables, and a really nice classic diner atmosphere to really top it all off.

Staff were very pleasant, and very quick.

The menu seems more fit for breakfasts and lunches, but there are a few nice dinner options, if you're not a vegetarian. If you're vegetarian, there's pancakes, eggs, waffles, but oddly no salads since they all have meat.

The food was just jaw dropping. I haven't seen such large portions at a diner yet, and the bread choices (and taste) were overwhelming! The toast was done to perfection and buttered just right. The eggs were perfectly cooked and complemented by excellent cheese and vegetables.

Of course, with a pancakes in the name and a menu of this size, how could you not order pancakes. The pancakes were cooked to perfection, with slightly crispy edges, and fluffy throughout. The cream was a perfect cherry on top, not sweetened, so it didn't just destroy you when you added syrup.

If you're passing by, this is definitely a great place to stop at for a meal, and if you're staying at the retro looking Atomic Motel right across the street, Pig'N Pancake is a great place to have breakfast...

I brought my family here for the first time in over 10 years. My meal was a sausage and cheese omelet with sourdough pancakes on the side. The sausage was your basic frozen sausage with Tillamook cheese which was the best part.

The rest of our food was pancakes. We had a mix of buttermilk and sourdough. The buttermilk pancakes were about half the size as I remember and there was nothing buttermilk about them. They were not good and certainly not worth the money. Now the worst part, the sourdough pancakes. My family eats sourdough pancakes frequently from a wide variety of locations and homemade. I would never expect them to be as good as homemade but they are hands down the worst pancakes I have ever eaten in my life. Not only did the flavor make me want to vomit, they were about 2/3 the size. Do yourself a favor and avoid the sourdough as they ABSOLUTELY not real sourdough in the furthest stretch of your imagination. The only good part is the service. The waitress was nice however she did appear to almost get offended when I told her the pancakes sucked. All that said it cost us $95 for two omelets, three kids meals and two cups of coffee. I will never visit this restaurant chain again and I recommend going...

Came in after doing some sightseeing and taking in this awesome town with a big appetite. Today I ordered: Water with Lemon :) Gluten Friendly Pancakes $16.50 These pancakes where light fluffy and SOOOOOOOO Good!!! Your order is 6 full size gluten Free and they are worth every cent! (I also was able to bring in my freshly picked wildblackberriers to add to the top and what a smashing delight it was.) Two Biscuits $4.50 These biscuits are amazing they are so soft that when you cut into them they crumble without making a mess. The butter melts right on the biscuits. Overall the food was amazing. Parking lot was big enough to fit my Truck and camper as well. I will say though it is a bit of a squeeze. The reason I dropped a star is that the service was lacking. Sitting for 10 mins waiting at in an empty establishment because your staff wants to talk about people and what they would or wouldn't do if dating so and so's friend. Those conversations' should not be had in front of customers. I learned so much about the way they view themselves and each others prior to ever having my order taken. Service is extremely important not just the food. Thanks for having me, The Traveling Truck Show

I ordered the Swedish pancakes, and when it came out, it looked like a lot of food as you can see in the picture but the way they are rolled, there is pretty much a lot of air on the inside, and I had to eat half of my husband‘s food to get enough to eat. This breakfast dish cost about $18. There is no reason that I should not have had more than enough to eat for $18. Not only that, but they were not hot when they came out and I had to ask the server to warm them up which she did. Also, parts of the pancakes were so thin that they were crunchy like chips and not good. About one pancake total I couldn’t eat because it was just like a tasteless cracker. My husband did enjoy his meal, the chicken fried steak so my review is based on my meal, the Swedish pancakes. Overall, it just felt like a very overpriced diner that I would not be excited about returning to.

Stayed at the motel right next door and saw it was crowded so I was hopeful to try a new diner. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and my lady pigs in a blanket. Also she got coffee and I got oj. Well this was probably the worst biscuit and gravy I've ever had it was a lil fishy and just not right I tried to eat it cuz I was hungry but even the biscuit alone after I scrapped off the gravy wasn't good. The sausage was ok. My ladies dish was just ok but way better than mine. She said coffee was bad and my oj was very disappointing. Also idk what kind of eggs they get but her scrambled eggs was dry and tough and my over easy was very plastic like The service was good though our waitress was very nice and helpful.
