Of course, a cheap fast food location is where I have come to expect very poor customer service and slower-than-expected speed, even if the food is good, though unhealthy for you. This location is no exception. I had managed to put up with the slow service on multiple occasions, but my latest experience brought an end to that. First off, you should always expect a wait at this location, even at lunch, because they will have only one register open. You might attempt to save time using the Burger King app to order. Sometimes this works at this location, and others it doesn't. The app often reports this location is closed, even when it is not, and that's assuming some other technical difficulty doesn't keep you from ordering. If you are lucky enough to submit an order via the app, be prepared for it to still take an eternity for the staff to process it, and don't expect the order to be right. Most often, they will forget your combo ordered via app comes with a drink, at the very least. This location lost my business for good this week, after a comedy of errors. I was on a tight lunch break, as usual, so I attempted to order ahead, only to have the app again erroneously inform me the location is closed. It clearly was not. I've brought this to the attention of staff and even individuals I've seen that appear to be managers in the past, but they react in ways that indicate "that's not my job." With no way to order ahead, I proceeded to the store and walked in. At 12:30PM, one register was open, with a line of over 10 people in front of me waiting to order. I patiently waited, finally ordered, and paid. I then proceeded to further wait for my order to be fulfilled. After another 5 minutes or so, the employee that took my order waved me over. I stood there as she slowly handed another customer their order. She then apologized but informed me the item I ordered was not available. It is disturbing that this could not be communicated to me before I ordered and paid. The employee also did not seem to be trained on how to deal with such a situation. After informing me that the primary item of my order was not available, she stared at be blankly. She did not offer a substitute, nor did she offer a refund. I finally requested a refund. This of course couldn't be handled by the employee alone, as she frantically searched for a manager. At this point, I was out over half my lunch break and still had nothing to eat. I informed her to never mind, and took this up with corporate. Why, WHY do places like this not hire more competent employees and in greater numbers? I don't even blame the employee directly. Why is there no inventory control that would have informed her my item was not available at time of delivery? Why was the store not staffed with at least two registers open at lunch? Your food is delicious, your prices are more than fair, but your customer...
Read moreHorrible drive thru experience. Pulled up and was asked to hold on. Over 10 minutes went by and nobody returned to take my order. After a few "hellos" and "excuse mes" I drove up to the window. The cashier was mumbling and I couldn't make much of it out but eventually he asked for my order. While I was ordering he would cut me off and say okay good anything else or he'd say and what to drink but I was still ordering, like mid sentence. So because of that he missed my requested modification which was to have sausage and bacon and to remove the spicy sauce. When I heard him yell the order out I noticed he didn't mention the modifications. So I mentioned I asked for no spicy sauce and sausage and bacon. He said okay and yelled out no sauce please. He then asked for my drink again and I asked for an OJ he said it was an upcharge and rang me up for an additional 60 cents. I finally get my order and go to check it because the cashier wasn't really listening to my order. And there was no sausage. I waited at the window he eventually said what's the problem. I then repeated what I ordered and asked for him to add sausage. He screamed that I didn't say that that's not what I ordered. I said you probably didn't hear me because you kept talking over me while I was trying to order. I wish you had listened to my order. He started cussing me out and then instructed me to pull forward. Eventually I received my food from a different employee but overall it was an awful experience. I've never had an order taker refuse to listen to your order and then get angry that it was incorrect or that I a had to repeat it do frequently. I didn't tell or cuss at the cashier I just wanted my correct order without a verbal...
Read moreAdmittedly I'm not a connoisseur of fast food but I have traveled extensively and know good service when I see it. This BK has atrocious service. It took 18 minutes to get to the drive through window after ordering and there were only 2 cars ahead of me. Once we made it to the window the attendant meandered from the window to somewhere else in the store to retrieve change for my cash payment. 8 minutes later, our food arrived. To their credit they got the order right. ( or so we thought) We got our number 3 impossible whopper meal and chicken fries. Our change followed 3 minutes later. In total, our drive through experience took over 30 minutes. Once we finally escaped drive through purgatory, we found the impossible whopper we ordered was actually a beef whopper and appeared that it was sitting for quite some time before being served. It was dry, tough and cold. Not to mention tasted bad. We didn’t eat it. The chicken fries appeared to be sitting for a longtime before being served as well. Cold, rubbery and greasy. We didn’t eat those either. So, for our patience, 15 or so dollars and trust in the brand, we ended up disappointed and hungry. We went to McDonalds before getting back on the highway. The only nice thing I can say about this BK experience is the attendant was polite. However, while observing the staff while waiting at the drive through window, I could clearly see there was NO sense of urgency. Looked like everybody in there was just hanging out on a street corner cutting up. I will avoid this BK at all costs and so should you. I feel lucky we didn’t end up with food poisoning. If I could rate it below 1 star I would. The manager should be ashamed of...
