10/4/2024. I'll start by saying, "I love Taco Bell.. I really do. But after today, I think this experience sealed the deal for me. I went over to try the new Omar apollo box. (It was around 9:45-10 ). When i went in, I saw 2 men standing in line, a bunch of workers standing around, and no one at the register to take orders. I announced myself after standing at the register for about 2 minutes, and the lady looked at me like I was crazy and pointed at the kiost behind me. Mind you, there were about 6 employees, with 3 people in the drive thru and 2 in line. I ended up taking the kiosk because I didn't feel like arguing for a basic necessity. I ordered the box and requested NO LETTUCE add potatoes. After paying 16.32, I waited 10 minutes on my order. The workers were moving very slowly, and there wasn't much of a team effort.. just 1 person on each side while everyone else stood around. Whike I was waiting, customers were walking into the restaurant and the lady who pointed to the kiosk would say in an ignorant voice, "The inside is closed!" Instead of just walking over and locking the door from the inside like any other restaurant. There was also a guy going in and out of the building from the kitchen.. He came back looking faded asf, so with how easily he was able to just walk out without asking and smoke a blunt on company time, I knew what this was instantly.. Once I receive my order.. I checked the bag, and of course- there was lettuce on every taco, but they did get the potatoes correct. I called over the lady who pointed at the kiosk and informed her of the issue. She gave me a long stare of "Are you kidding me?" Like I was in the wrong. She takes the order back, and after another 5 minutes of waiting, I get the box again. This time, I check the tacos, and there's just potato and cheese. In this box, you get 2 hard tacos and 1 hard with a soft shell tortilla around it. All of them INCLUDE MEAT. Never did I say to them "Take off the protein" in words or on my receipt. After I gave the box back for a second time. They checked the box more thoroughly and found 1!- taco with meat. After that, they called me over and were taunting about it. Saying "ahh haa, we did get it right" following up with "But we messed up the other 2 though." At that point, I lost all hope in the meal i paid for. I knew it was going to be "eh" and cold and made with pure hate. So I will not be returning to this tacobell or any tacobell. Oh, and the lobby was filthy!! All the workers standing around and no one evening touching the lobby? While saying the lobby is closed. You could at least start cleaning and putting chairs up to give that impression. Sorry taco bell but you need to improve.

This is, bar none, the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to in my life. Every visit without fail comes with issues. Sloppily made food, wrong orders, incredible wait times, awful attitudes. Why keep going to this cancerous location you might ask? 1) It is right down the road from my home. 2) There might be some abusive spouse complex where I think it will get better if I just keep trying, but ultimately it's all a disgusting fantasy. Please, please, please - if you are reading this, do NOT go here. The Howell Mill road Taco Bell is 3 miles away and worth the extra effort because they usually have their act together and the time spent driving would likely be spent waiting for your wrong order at this location anyway. Taco Bell corporate, I urge you to clean house with this management team. They clearly have no regard for providing a product or service that is anything above abysmal. Signed, A concerned and exhausted fan.

If you’re only accepting cash, place a sign on the door or outside! I felt sorry for those who waited in line behind me for 30-40 minutes to only be told “they’re only accepting cash”. I had cash but what if I didn’t? Is my time not worth anything? Do better. The food was decent. The young black guy in the window had great spirit though! I couldn’t see myself being rude to him!

i just came from taco bell right now and I experienced a bad attitude and talk back from the lady serving the drive thru window.. she tried to rush me at the time I was ordering, i couldnt hear my order very good. fine. i'm sure at the window we can figure it out.

i get to the window and i dont have all i asked for. I already dont like that. but:

i order the extra items i originally wanted. I give her my money and she complains to me that she normally doesnt take orders at the window... and mutters under her breath how i should pay attention when she repeated my order back to me earlier. WHAT KIND OF ATTITUDE IS THAT?

i ask her nicely for more fire sauce for my second bag of tacos. I asked with a please. SHE THEN TELLS ME NO. That she has already given me enough. I ask her again to give me a handful of fire sauce, and i add the please. She starts to rant and rave how she wont give me any more.

the manager walks up, I tell him that all i want is more fire sauce, all the while Tamika Jones/Johnson was trying to talk over me.

6, I tell the manager that i dont appreciate Tamika's attitude and that I will be calling in the incident. he didnt say anything, he just gave me more sauce.

7, the whole time Tameka is running her mouth at me, even the counter lady from inside the store starts talking down to me! I tell her to keep her mouth quiet because this situation has nothing to do with her.

8, ask the manager for the lady's name and she replies with her name and tells me to complain all i want. she said her name so fast i didnt completely catch the last name. she did however, spell out her first name.

i am telling you right now, I am unhappy and upset at the level of service i received today. I guarantee you that I will tell all my friends about this incident and I will never eat taco bell again.

Tamika Jones/Johnson: Im sending a report of all this to Taco Bell. Im going to make sure they put you in the back washing pots and pans. What kind of mess is...

This is the worst Taco Bell in Atlanta. Here's why;

  1. First let me say that I do commend the workers at TB off Ponce because they're always swamped and have been more so since the West End TB location started closing at midnight. The reason I didn't give one-star is that at least they keep the TB machine going.

  2. I love Taco Bell and visit a location around ATL at least once a week. The location off Ponce consistently screws up the order. They either don't put the full order in the bag (always look in the bag!) or don't follow instructions (I order regular, not supreme!) This happens 20% of the time 100% of the time.

  3. The reason I'm actually taking time to write a review is that last week, after charging my credit card, the person working the drive thru, didn't hand me my card back. It was probably an accident, but I'm so used to getting the card back first and then the food. So anyways, once I got my food, my instinct was to check in the bag real quick to make sure everything was there and move on, so that the nice people behind me (all 17 cars can move up). The next day I realized my card was missing and it had to have been left at TB.

  4. Last night, I went to get my weekly TB fill and mentioned that I left my CC there. They said it wasn't there, so no big deal, cancelling the card was on my to do list for today. Then I got a notification today from AMEX to authorize a purchase of $950 at Computer World that I didn't make.

Not sure if this was just a one time thing, but be careful about getting your credit cards back from this location. No more trips for me to the Ponce location, because the quality of the service and people...
