The reason why I made an attempt to get assistance from this organization, was because of the founder John Hope Bryant. He was being interviewed on a reputable show. He explained his organization in details, of how they help people. I hate it when people stand on national TV, and they lie, about how it's important to help others, but THEY DON'T DO ANYTHING TO HELP YOU. LMAO! It's such a shame how black businesses, can continue to be so unorganized and unprofessional. I was requesting help to start a business, due to me being disabled. I spoke with Jewel Thompson like 2 years ago, twice, via phone. Two years ago, she was supposed to return my phone call and she never did. I spent all that time filling out their application, which is about the size of a book, but yet they never cared to even get in contact with me about anything. This is proof how unorganized this organization is. I did a follow up with them and they did the same thing lying to me saying that they were going to call me back and never did. So therefore, I can understand the reviews on here are true, about how unprofessional this company is. I'm so embarrassed, how our black communities, continue to fail their own people. This is why the rich get richer while the poor stay poor. The people who have money, they truly don't care about helping others achieve greatness. I've seen White folks go out of their way to help Blacks get to a higher level. This organization should be ashamed saying that they help people, when it's clear...

Thank You Again for Such a Push to getting back in Alignment of My Life ...I am a single parent. I have a College Age Son and Elementary age daughter. Yes! I started all over again but this time around Life has seem to knock me down a few times. I have tried for the last five years to Stay Steady Strong. .Medically and Mentally.. It hasn't Always been Easy.

I love both of my children however, My six year old daughter has been My Life Line. She really has!! I would like to Thank the Staff at Hope Atlanta for a Financial Push and Stability Reboot . I feel a Great Weight has been lifted.

Ms.Stewart I want you to know that normally a person in higher positions do not interact with clients. They do not jump in and often seem not to care. (I worked most of my life, I know !) Now that I am disabled things sure have changed for me drastically. Thank You for listening to my concerns and always remaining professional and proactive for my situation!

I just signed up yesterday.. And already regretting my decision. Mr. Kenny Anderson appeared to be very nice and helpful in fact to make false accusations on who I am from our first meeting. I have a past present and future as most coming into this particular program. No one deserves to come here to gain NO respect or courtesy. I received a call today from another worker (she) was very rude ratchet and forceful towards me going to a shelter. Wow.. really? look the point of me coming is true indeed to receive assistance but how am i getting around to accomplish anything when HOPE Atlanta does NOT issue marta cards or any transportation aid. However, they want paperwork turned in and document requirements met! At their timely fashion not when you can get it or else you cant receieve help. Bottomline I was prejudge and mistreated for no apparent reason from day one. And furthered into another day... I ignored it the first day as minor misunderstandings or what have you but today was taken way to far about nothing. Mr. Kenny Anderson you should not treat people in the manner that you have with no known reasoing behind your underline motive. Ppl just because your in need does NOT mean you have to allow someone to belittle you down grade or misjudge you off their personal issues.. I went in wanting help and came out to be treated like a criminal of some unknown crime. I DO NOT recommend any human being to go to this program. Your not treated fair or common...
