The hotel itself, is, fairly nice. Room and corridors were clean; breakfast was good. Most days was some kind of fruit medley/salad, eggs (scrambled and omelettes), pancakes/waffles (self made) and other assortment of toast and pastries. Location is also a plus, as it is within walking distance to several places to eat (like directly across the road and and on the left and right sides of the hotel). Price, too, was very competitive, as I found this to be one of the most reasonably priced hotels in the vicinity. In fact, one of the last ones that was not charging parking fees at the time of my booking. The website did advertise, after my booking, that they would be charging parking fees (still at the lowest price I'd seen) from November 2022 (after my check in). However, when I arrived, I was given a tag for my vehicle and was never charged.
Customer service staff, however, was mixed. The gentleman that checked me in was great and so was the other male agent and the shuttle driver (There is a shuttle service from 5pm that can take you almost anywhere within a reasonable distance from the hotel, which is also a great selling point, but it was not advertised, strangely).
The ladies, though, were not very friendly. Whenever I passed by, I would always speak, but never a response would I get. Then, on checkout, I asked for a late one. They gave me until 12, which I readily accepted, as World Cup soccer was on and I was watching from the room. I also alerted the cleaning supervisor (I assume that's who she was - she was the one confirming my checkout and making the note on her itinerary) that I'm pretty much packed and checked out, but was just watching the game from the room and as soon as she's ready to have me out for cleaning, I'm happy to leave. She acknowledged and accepted that (apparently). Nevertheless, I got a call from the front desk advising (in the rudest manner you can imagine) that they need the room and I must vacate immediately. Now, I understand it may simply be policy; however, I explained to the lady the situation I described above. Despite my calmness and respectful position, she reiterated in that same rude posture that I must vacate (despite the corridor free from any cleaning services). I just thought she was being really uncooperative and unreasonable, which I don't even mind as much; but it was the tone. She was really rude. Spoiled the whole trip right at the end.
Despite all that, I'd still recommend the hotel, based on the other staff, the amenities, close proximity to restaurants and shops and overall...

Sometimes rude. We arrived late in the evening and the receptionist didn’t acknowledge us or say anything to us at all. No welcome, no information - didn’t even tell us our room number. It was baffling. Some of the staff over the stay were friendly but mostly not. The room was small and dated with a double bed (despite being called a king room). The AC was unbelievably loud, like a freight train rolling through the room. The bathroom sink was broken. The elevators were slow and shaky. One of the two elevators was out of service for almost our whole stay (6 nights), meaning it took at least a few minutes and often 5+ minutes just to get to and from our room. There’s no service elevator so during housekeeping hours the lifts are often full of housekeeping trolleys. Housekeeping is by request only. They took our empty toilet paper rolls without giving any more so we had to go to reception to ask for more - not ideal. The breakfast was fine but is meant to be available until 10am. By 9am, most things were empty (no bagels, no fruit, no waffle batter, limited hot savoury options). This happened almost every day. You eat off paper plates with plastic cutlery which is wasteful and feels cheap. The pool is fine but was closed one morning for cleaning at around 11am (opened at midday). This probably could have been done earlier in the morning. You need to collect and drop off towels at reception which is a bit inconvenient - it wouldn’t be that hard to have a towel bin at the pool. On our last night a very loud group checked in next door and started prank calling our room. We could hear them laughing when I picked up and they hung up. I told reception who didn’t care, and asked them to send security to our room which they didn’t.
It’s worth noting for foreign travellers who are not familiar with US cities that Atlanta is not a walkable city and this area is somewhat isolated. There are a handful of nice restaurants and bars nearby but you generally need a car (or to use Uber frequently like we did). The MARTA train line was not operating properly during our stay.
There is no way we would return to this or any other...

Check-in was a breeze.
They gave us a parking pass to be able to park in the attached parking garage.
Coffee (regular, dark, decaf) & hot water for tea or hot chocolate, is available all day beside the front desk.
The room is clean and it is a typical sized room with 2 queen size beds and bathroom with a tub and single sink. Flat screen, mini microwave, mini fridge, ironing board, 2 desks, full size mirror, hotel sized shampoo/conditioner/lotion/soaps. Towels are ok.
The beds were a little in the firm side. Pillows were flat (terrible for side sleepers).
An electrical outlet and 2 usb ports are available in the night stand between the 2 beds- very convenient for us because we have 4 cell phones.
Door was a little heavy to open.
Shower pressure is low. Need some hanging hooks for the bathroom for towels you may reuse.
TV automatically opens in the TV guide list when you turn it on, however once we choose a channel, we could not figure out a way to go back to the TV guide list. There were HBO channels.
The pool is NOT heated. However the weather outside was pretty hot, heating up the pool water to room temperature. It has a depth from 3-ft to 5-ft. One of the underwater pool lights was not attached to the wall, exposing the wiring in the water.
Breakfast was closed at 10 am. Juices, fresh squeeze juices, fat free & 2% milks, hot oatmeal, grits, sliced fruits, bagels, pastries, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and make-your-own waffles. Friday & Saturday morning freshly cooked- sausage, scrambled eggs, seasoned potatoes, omelet, hard boiled egg. Sunday morning- bacon replaced the sausage. I had to inform front desk one day that they had put coffee in "hot water" dispenser.
We checked out around 11:30 am on Sunday. I called front desk at 2 pm because my 7 yo son left his Toy Story water bottle in our room. I was transferred to house keeping who said that she will call me back as soon as they talk to lost & found. Monday, still no calls. So i called back and talk to someone in front desk who said will call me back in a couple of hours. Tuesday, still no call. Hence, the 1 star.
