Today, my wife and I found a little slice of joy at Burton's Grill. From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like walking into a place where people genuinely care, not just about the food they serve, but about the people theyâre serving.
The food? Absolutely incredible. Fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor, every bite told a story of passion and skill. I started with the fried calamari, perfectly crisp and tender, and then moved on to the Maxx Burger, which was nothing short of unforgettable. The kitchen team deserves a standing ovation for their craft, theyâre creating more than meals; theyâre creating experiences.
But what truly made this visit special was the people. The hostess greeted us with such warmth, setting the tone for the day. Then came Kyrie, our server, what a light she is. Sweet, attentive, and genuinely kind, she made us feel like we were guests in her own home. She took care of every detail, even packing our leftovers as if they were treasures. Kyrie isnât just good at her job; sheâs exceptional. Sheâs the kind of person who turns a meal into a memory.
The general manager stopped by to check on us, and his kindness was just as refreshing as the food. Taking the time to guide us through downloading the app and celebrating our earned points was a thoughtful touch that didnât go unnoticed.

I am very patient and I understand mistakes will happen- not an issue for me. To get to the point, I ordered a burger and fries, med temp, and was told that I would receive a text message when the food was ready to be picked up. I waited in the car close to 35 minutes in anticipation of said text message. I then walked back into the restaurant inquiring about the order I had placed. The host then proceeds to hand me an order that had clearly been sitting there for a while. There was a manager at the podium as well, who I then explained to about never receiving a text message about the ordering being prepared and ready. He simply just replied that the host never mentioned it. He wasnât rude, it just seemed that there shouldâve been a little more attention to my issue. Not to mention it was awkward because it almost felt like there was this âIs there anything else you needed help withâ moment. That honestly came off very dismissive, and while I doubt that was his intent, it still frustrated me. I left with cold food, and a headache. On top of that, when I cut the cold burger in half to try to eat it, it was barely pink in the inside. I donât know whether that was because it was cooked too long or it sat too long.    Read moreALERT! Unfortunately, and per several consumer reviews, there appears to be an ongoing pattern of substandard food and poor customer / table service. Sadly, our party of four was victim to both during our recent dining experience. Warm entrees were served cold, the food was of marginal quality, and our server lacked significantly in judgement and skill. Additionally, the server removed our dinnerware and 'prematurely' directed us to the desert menu while one of our guests was still eating. We declined dessert and found it just as inappropriate to be presented with our check while someone was still finishing their meal. Hopefully, the corporate office / restaurant management staff takes valid consumer feedback seriously and will promptly address this server's disconcerting behavior. Shame on Burton's Bar & Grill for their failure to ensure servers are properly trained to provide patrons with quality service and a positive and pleasant dining experience!
