Yesterday I had the privilege to dine at the most exquisite Caribbean fusion restaurants in Atlanta, MISSCONDUCK. When I tell you this place is a 10 out of 10.....Baby! The moment you walk in, the ambiance is welcoming, exotic, and simply beautiful. I was greeted with a smile, and the music was vibing. I sat at the bar, which was one of the most unique, thoughtful, and comfortable bars I ever sat in. The stools had plenty of cushion for my wide behind, and all around the foot area is a stool that makes sitting no matter how short or tall very easy!! So Dope because I've been bartending for over 20 years and been to my share of restaurants and never had that experience. Anywho, my bartender for the evening was Mic, and she had some of the best energy you can have serving you. Mic was very helpful and suggested I add the fresh pineapple-ginger juice to my plain prosecco, and it was delicious! Now I would have ordered a craft cocktail, but I'm supposed to be fasting on booze, so the champagne was perfect. When I do drink my mimosas, I prefer pineapple juice instead of orange juice, so that ginger just really turned it up a notch, and I truly enjoyed it. I ordered the double double happy hour appetizer, and it was very flavorful. The dish was like 2 naan sandwiches with stewed chickpeas and a cucumber chutney on top, which made me feel like I was eating clean and good at the same time. I kept asking if the bread was made out of roti because it was so soft and yummy, she advised me it wasn’t. On to the entree, I ordered the Goat Roti, which came with cabbage, mmmm my favorite. Now I never really been one to order goat, just slightly being nervous all my life, but baby!!!!!!! I think I like goat more than oxtail for real for real. There’s more meat, less work, and the way the chef mixes the spices and herbs to create a party in your mouth without being salty should be studied. I was born in St. Croix, and I love food. I was honored to meet the owners who are a mother-daughter duo from Trinidad that cooks with absolute 100% LOVE and I couldn’t ask for anything more. You will not regret coming to MISSCONDUCK! They also take reservations and have space for large parties!!! I’m sorry for the excitement but good authentic cuisine is hard to find so you all are welcome in advance, once you pull up and leave smiling ear to ear feeling like me! Peace and blessings everybody! THANK YOU MISSCONDUCK! P.s I did a video and my camera was a bit foggy my bad 🙃

Miss Conduck is an elegent, yet affordable mother-daughter black-owned Carribean Fusion restaurant! The owners both interact with diners regularly, and you can really tell they care. It's such a special treat to have the vibe of an upscale restaurant AND the familiarity of your favorite third space, all at reasonable prices. Not to mention, there are happy hour deals on apps and drinks, too. The food is delicious! I want to come back until I've tried one of everything on the menu! Note that menus are accessed via QR codes. There are no paper menus available. This restaurant is also cashless. There's soca, calypso and other great dance music playing loudly with colored lights throughout the bar, which may bother people with sensory sensitivity, but made for a fun atmosphere for my taste. The interior flooring is uneven stone, which may not be suitable for people with balance deficits or mobility challenges. There are a few long carpets covering some of it along most frequented indoor walkways. There is a low sofa in the waiting area. Ample accessible seating is in the back room where all the tables have removeable chairs. The bar has no low countertops, only high stools, so it is not accessible for wheelchair users. There are only booths near the bar, so these are also not alternatives. Anyone who drives and parks in the parking lot can cross a brick path to a back door that has no threshold to enter. Similar to the front door, this door has no threshold and is lightweight but has no accessible door opener and requires a doorknob to open. The bathroom may be difficult to maneuver in as the two stall doors and bathroom door all open out towards each other. The accessible stall, shown, is long and narrow, so it may be hard to turn, and you cannot position a wheelchair to the side of the toilet for transfers. There does not appear to be a changing table present in the women's restroom nor a family or gender neutral bathroom as an option. The paper towels are far too high for someone who is shorter than 5' or in a wheelchair to reach, and the soap may be too high for someone folks as well. Check out the RollMobility app for more accessibility reviews like this. I am not involved financially in any way. Just want to spread awareness since it has been helpful for me to use as someone with a disability.

Authentic Caribbean food with excellent service! Food: My favorite Jerk chicken rasta pasta to date! The spicy yet flavorful sauce seemed one with the noodles instead of being a creamy, Alfredo-like sauce that merely coated them. Jerk seasoning had a nice kick too, so it was nice they had a tamarind sauce that tapered the heat without being too sweet. My husband was born in Guyana and delighted they knew what he meant when he wanted the "dhal puri" version of the goat curry roti. I was happy he finally had genuine roti again! The goat was tender and flavorful. The portions were too more than we could finish, but we'd also just had to try the "Double Doubles." I was initially reluctant because I don't like fried food, but it didn't come across as fried and wasn't oily. It was more of a lightly fried bread with delicious mix of chickpeas and other goodness inside. We also added the hot pepper sauce -- spicy with lots of familiar flavor! Drinks: I enjoyed the happy hour margarita because it wasn't overly sweet or watered down like I've had at other restaurants, including Mexican ones. Husband liked his Red Stripe (Jamaican lager). Service: Everyone from the owners (mother/daughter) to our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The well-known Ritchie wasn't working tonight, but we felt well cared for by Shania (sp?). We enjoyed talking to the owners and learning the origins of this new restaurant. Parking: I'd read about the parking behind the restaurant but missed the turn because it was right before the restaurant, so we had to drive around the block. I've included a picture of where we should have turned in hopes it helps others (assuming nobody paints over the woman!). Overall: We highly recommend this restaurant for delicious, authentic food and excellent service!

CALL THE PRESS!!!! IMPECCABLE FOOD, SERVICE & AMBIANCE! I literally haven't been able to give a grade inclusive of a detailed review this high to a restaurant in quite some time. So many restaurants have lost their commitment to superb & quality products but not here! The freshness is on point. If there was a 💯, they would get a 💯! Today our palates were pampered with THE BEST Carribean Fusion we've ever experienced including on our many travels to several Carribean countries for vacations! We drove over an hour to get to this hidden gem that shouldn't be hidden by any means but set upon the highest platform of Caribbean food excellence possible and exposure to be the "Newfound Gem" that is a MUST TRY! I'm not exaggerating and again my palate is well seasoned as I travel internationally almost monthly. We initially stood outside a bit but Ms. LaToya, one of the owners, invited us to come right in. The vibe & reception was beyond my expectations. We then met the Executive Chef/Owner, Miss Emily . We immediately felt like family. We started off with the Doubles Doubles & "doubled our order" after tasting such a beautiful array of flavors that just makes you silent in food ectasy. I'm heading to my microwave to warm up my last one. Shhh 🤫 We ordered the "Oxtail Rasta Pasta" which fell off the bones into the well pampered seasonings that were just delectable. We also ordered the Curry Goat which was as equally jaw dropping with the perfect exotic flavors that didnt disappoint. We've never had the honor to taste the Trinidadian style fusion cooking of Caribbean foods until today and our lives have been changed. That's what one of the waitresses told us we would feel after eating there & it's what we do feel. We were able to have a lovely conversation with Ms. Emily & Ms LaToya(Owners) and have the utmost respect for them and feel blessed to have dined there today. I can explain in detail how every morsel tasted when I took my slow and deliberate bites because that's how delicious every bite was. Last but not least, we had a slice of rum cake which was very moist and decadent. Today felt like we were in the islands with the ambiance, decor and at the same time we felt like we were sitting with family members while speaking with the owners. I can't forget to share how respectful & passionate about the food and service Miss Conduck is. You can literally feel the love through the food. Literally. I had to inquire about the preparation process and when it was explained we were in awe. So much time is taken to make sure that excellence is what is served with every meal. This is the highest standard possible for an upscale Carribean fusion experience. We were blessed to have had this first of many future dining experiences there and to have met such good people was an extra bonus. What a great date with my husband today! We FINALLY FOUND OUR NEW CARRIBEAN SPOT and can't wait to savor more Caribbean Fusion at Ms.Conduck. I have to spread the word because so many I know just have subpar Caribbean/Caribbean Fusion experiences with other restaurants but every taste bud in my mouth has been taken to new levels today, and I want more. Thank you for such a delicious and exotic food experience. We're your regulars now. We were enjoying so much that I forgot about taking pictures but you MUST TRY this place that has taken over my high desire for regular Jamaican or Carribean food! I'm branded on these exact flavors with this well seasoned fusion style. See you...
