Tonight was one of my worst restaurant experiences. My sister, cousin, and I visited Fins and Feather Atlanta tonight. I had been there once before during the day for a business meeting so when it came up on my Tik Tok while looking for places to eat in Atlanta I vouched for it. While on the way there from Lithonia I tried to make reservations but there was no answer. When we arrived we paid $20 for parking. We went inside and the manager Randy informed us since we didn’t have reservations we had to wait 30 minutes. Instead of leaving we decided to visit the bar until our table was ready. Once seated at the bar for not more than 3-4 mins, Randy informed us a table was ready. We were seated at the table by Randy, Our waitress came shortly after and took our drink and food orders. Not too long after that a hookah salesman came by and my cousin paid for the hookah service. Unfortunately, when the food came my chicken wasn’t cooked thoroughly and was sent back after Randy informed me it couldn’t be taken off the ticket (which was a request that was never mentioned). Anyway maybe 10 minutes after I got my replacement chicken the waitress came by and brought us our checks stating our time was up. We still had food we were eating, hookah we just started smoking after eating , and drinks but were being told we had to leave. Collectively, we spent over $180-$200 to come and treat ourselves only to be treated so rudely. When questioned about the service, the manager Randy lied and told me to my face that he informed us there was a time limit which was a blatant lie. Our food was okay besides the undercooked chicken but this place gets 1 star for poor service and unclean restrooms. If we had been informed of the time limit prior to being seated we most likely wouldn’t have stayed. It’s clear this place doesn’t value its customers at all. I will never return and would not recommend this...
Read moreWhere do I begin. I had a horrible experience, but it wasn’t all bad. I came for brunch on Saturday, had reservations for a party of 8. We where on a peach roll which is a timed event. We made it know right away, our reservation was made through the peach roll and they still said they could do it. When we ordered we ordered drinks and food at the same time, also requested that we receive checks when we got our food or right after because of our time issues. They said no problem.
I’ll start with the good:
Atmosphere is amazing, great music. It’s small but it’s on Edgewood so make sure you have a reservation.
Everyone received water.
The bad:
My server was drunk. Just flat out drunk which didn’t help the awful service.
Our party of 8 only had two drinks out of 8! We waited 40mins for everyone to receive their cocktails. Also a few of us ordered multiple and never received them but they where still on our checks that had to get corrected.
I actually never received my food at all, everyone around me did and I brought it up multiple times to the point I said forget it I don’t want it anymore. But the table next to us of six that sat down after us had drinks and food before us.
I called the male manager over multiple times trying to figure out what was taking the drinks so long and the food, he was no help at all.
I also called him over because we wanted checks and had to leave, it took an additional 30mins to receive a check and for them to be wrong.
The peach roll left us needless to say. Making it impossible to reach our second location. All I have to say is if you aren’t able to accommodate, don’t say you are. They could have easily picked a different restaurant for us...
Read moreI stopped by here with friends around 1am on a Thursday night. There was a security guard who checked license and did a pat down.
It wasn’t busy inside and the music was on par for the environment. There was food, drinks, and hookah.
One friend got a hookah. They said it wasn’t good at first. The staff left and brought it back. My friend said it was better then. My friend ordered egg rolls and fries. The fries were hot and tasty. The egg rolls appeared old and non appealing. They said it wasn’t good but they ate it because they were hungry.
The drinks were $15 a piece and STRONG! However, too strong. I got an AMF. I don’t babysit drinks, but that drank was babysat until they closed where I STRUGGLED to finish it because of how much alcohol was in it and little of other items. For some, this may be great, but I wasn’t expected it and it wasn’t enjoyable. I had to eat fries in between each sip to get the overwhelming alcohol taste of my mouth. My friend’s drink was also strong and not enjoyable.
The menu was online which you can scan via QR code. There is a 20% gratuity on ALL bills, regardless of size. Service was hit and miss as far as attentiveness. On the other hand, staff were friendly. The lights came on about 5 minutes to 2am. Around 2am, security gave us and other parties present a gentle reminder to wrap up. We got another reminder around 2:05am. He was super chill and respectful in his...
