Let me just start by saying we ate here FOUR TIMES in THREE DAYS. That’s not a typo. That’s a testimony. I don’t know who is cooking back there, but I hope their hands are insured. First off, the staff? Sweet as Southern tea!I The vibes were giving “cool cousin that knows all the spots,” and the service matched—warm, inviting, and just the right level of hype over their own food (as they should be). Now… let’s get into the food. Our server recommended The Rachel - basically the turkey cousin of a Reuben, but said try it no kraut, add lettuce, tomato, and onion. Y’ALL. When I say this sandwich came out the kitchen singing Luther Vandross?! Warm, cheesy, savory heaven. I was licking my fingers like I don’t home training. Now let me pause for dramatic effect… because: THE. TATER. TOTS. I’m talking best I’ve ever had in my life. Golden crispy pillows of joy, and they come with this little secret sauce that made me briefly consider proposing to a side dish. But wait the fish sandwich?? Baybeeee. Flaky, flavorful fish hugged by a soft, toasted bun. My wife ate it literally every day like it was prescribed by a doctor. No notes. And now… the grand finale: The dessert? A sweet cornbread baked with white chocolate and macadamia nuts, lightly toasted, topped with housemade whipped cream, strawberries, and blueberries. I’m telling you, I almost licked the plate and asked for a to-go on my dignity. Who is in this kitchen?! A Southern grandma with a culinary degree?! I need names! In all seriousness, Motorboat is a rare gem, a spot that makes you feel at home while blowing your tastebuds away. We will be back. Repeatedly. Obsessively. And I will not apologize

Motorboat has a cute and cozy theme. Even though the inside suggest more of a seafood menu, there really isn't any seafood. The decor screams shrimp baskets, feels like more of a deli menu. I was craving a muffuletta, and this place had them. The sandwich is big enough to split between two people. We sat at the bar and the food came pretty fast. We also got the reuben which we preferred out of the two sandwiches. It was pretty dead when we went on a Thursday around 7. Bottom line, pretty casual menu and spot. Decent atmosphere, worth going for a visit especially with their unique menu. I think anyone could find something they would like.

Stopped in for an early dinner the other night. Very accessible from the beltline if you are walking, but there are also a few parking spots out front. Started the night with a cup of the African nut stew, warm and hearty with a light, peppery broth, perfect for these colder days. Got the Reuben and pastrami sandwiches, subbed tots. The food came out super fast. The sandwiches were loaded and had a great ratio of fillings. The prices are great and we will be coming back to dine again. The service was great, they were friendly and attentive, and offered some great advice on what to order.

Hi, I came to celebrate a work competition that I won and the service I received was just a terrible. The bartender I think his name was Larry if I’m not mistaken, was just super wasted and it definitely was showing in everything that he did it was just not a pleasant site to see. I would love to return because I really was excited to finally be there after hearing so many great things about the place but I will not return if he is there! I or no one should have to see or walk into an establishment to see an employee that wasted, it’s disgusting and not a good luck for your company. Please do something about this. Other than that my food was amazing and the place was beautiful thank you...
