I sat at the bar simply because I did not call ahead for a reservation (I highly recommend a reservation) and was promptly greeted by bartenders Ashley, Eazy, and Tierra all who made sure that I had been taken care of. By a fluke, I met Chef Aliyah and Janae who highly recommended that I add a plate of lightly roasted Brussel Sprouts to my order of Salmon Croquette. So, let’s talk about my food, shall we? The brussels sprout arrived first. The plate was drizzled with a faint artistic design of honey and a smattering of lemon crème in which to dip the sprouts in occasionally. (Mom, if you can make my veggies taste like this!!!) Accompanied next with a side of spicy aioli sauce were my fresh, handmade, lightly crusted, coupled with savory seasoned salmon croquettes that rendered me all but immobile while eagerly awaiting the next morsel on the tip of my tongue. The croquettes were placed on a bed of mixed field greens lightly topped with warm pickled red onions to add color and flavor. Underneath was a fair amount of Geechee boy creamy grits garnished with cheese and made with pimento cheese that were light and airy. The smell facilitated a long-lost reverie of early morning Sunday breakfast with family after a brief outing. On the side were my eggs, MADE AT MY request of well done on both sides, not a hint of loose yolk. Next was a delicately, yet strategically placed made from scratch biscuit that captured the down-home goodness you would expect from a southern establishment such as Toast on Lenox.
Chef Aaliyah and Chef Janae both deserve every accolade there ever was, as this meal and menu was simply put, superb!! 😊
From bartenders Ashley, Easy, and Tierra every one of them provided stellar customer service! (The only other establishment I have ever visited that provided service like this was the Waldorf Astoria in New York City).
The balmy outdoor setting beckoned individuals who requires a setting of solitude, or shaded sun while receiving the top-notch service from the waitstaff inside. The décor inside was simple yet elegant, while spacing created an intimate setting.
I strongly suggest that native Georgians visit Toast on Lenox immediately as they are quite busy, but well worth the drive. Should you not reside here in Georgia, but are planning to make a trip, allow me to strongly encourage you to ensure Toast on Lenox is on the top of your places to experience, as it has become a staple of Atlanta, GA……Buckhead...
Read moreFirst off let’s start by saying that this place was a vibe! My parter & I went for brunch and we did NOT leave unsatisfied! As soon as we stepped into the restaurant, we were instantly greeted by the host who had an amazing attitude and soft skills, then he asked if we wanted to be seated inside or outside and we asked for the wait time inside he said a possible wait time of 25 to 30 minutes, then he advised that there was seating outside with no wait time. So we chose to sit outside.
The only CONS about sitting outside: it seems as if the tables weren’t wiped/cleaned properly.
But, once we were seated, the waitress came over and introduced herself and asked “if it was our first time here or if we been there before before”, “if so we ready to order?” I told her no, then she went into detail about the restaurant, the menu and the mimosas. She then continue to ask if we want water or any other drinks, while we looked over the menu… by the time she came back with the water, which took about 5 minutes.. we order the catfish and grits with the side of shrimp and the shrimp and grits with the crawfish sauce added (which she recommended and she DID NOT MISS!). Then we also wanted to get mimosas and we ended up getting the bottle and it came with four flavors that we chose (peach passion fruit, watermelon and strawberry) out of the 10 she named! (The watermelon and passion fruit was AMAZING!) which cost us around about $60 for that which was fine with us. And the entrées itself anywhere between I believe $12-$25… moving forward , we waited about maybe 15 to 20 minutes for our food and the mimosas came about 10 to 15 minutes before the food came out. The food was amazing. The only CON with the waitress: is the waiter only checked on us maybe once and that was about it , I had to ask another waiter to get our waiter so we could get the ticket (within a hour timeframe of us sitting down enjoying the food and vibes) .
But overall. The experience here was amazing. There were a few CONS, but they weren’t big CONS! There were more PROS than anything.

Read moreI hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the service I received during my visit to Toast on Lenox on Sunday, May 25, 2025.
I’ve dined at your establishment before and enjoyed it so much that I often speak highly of it to friends and family. In fact, this time I chose to return and bring my sister, who had never been, based on my prior positive experiences.
Unfortunately, this visit was far from what I’ve come to expect from your restaurant. Upon arrival, I was told there would be a 45-minute wait, which I was happy to accept. I provided my phone number, as instructed, and waited patiently. After 45 minutes passed with no call or text, I returned to the host stand only to find that my name had been removed from the list and someone else had been seated in my place. This was frustrating, especially since another couple nearby was experiencing the same issue. Additionally, the host staff did not appear welcoming or apologetic.
Eventually, we were seated. My sister and I placed our orders, including a lemon drop martini, water, and our meals. The drink arrived promptly, and the food followed shortly after—however, we had no silverware. I asked for utensils, which took about three minutes to arrive. At that time, I also mentioned that my meal was missing potatoes, we still hadn’t received water, and I needed syrup for my waffle. These items took another several minutes to arrive, and I had to follow up once more to receive napkins.
While the food was indeed very good, the overall service experience left a lot to be desired. It was disorganized, inattentive, and fell far below the standard I’ve come to associate with your restaurant. Frankly, I would not usually accept an automatic gratuity for such poor service, but I did not dispute it this time.
I share this feedback not out of malice but with the hope that it can lead to improvements. I know I’m just one customer, but I genuinely expected better, especially considering how many other dining options I could have chosen. Unfortunately, this experience has left a negative impression, and I will not...
