I really do wish I could say I had a good experience but it honestly was horrible and regretful!! I took my rod to them for one bent guide on my Zenaq Tobizo rod; a $1,200 dollar rod might I add for the guy they use Mike Popick to do repairs & remove the complete wrong one. I was sketchy about leaving it because I already didn’t like the sloppy finish. I called them back the next day they opened because they were closed Sunday to tell them I’m just gonna come get my rod. My luck they said he already came back for it. So I called Mike Popick told him I didn’t like the work and just wanted my rod back he said he already started; by the time my rod was returned to me he completely defaced my rod by adding epoxy on completely perfect guides outside the bent guide location. Fish Hawk is taking no responsibility. I dropped it to their business and the Mike Popick Guy I’ve never even seen our met so how am I supposed to hold him accountable Fish Hawk is who took my rod. First photo is how my guides use to look. 🤬

Cool one-off fly and tackle shop that has everything you need for a day or several out on the water. Knowledgeable staff that is friendly and full of information. Highly recommend you stop in even if only to ask how the run is that day. They had exactly what I needed in stock and on their shelf where no other place within 100 miles did. They have everything here.

A buddy turned me on to TFH after we did a guided trip with Rob "The Moustache" Smith - who works there. Great trip btw, call Rob at TFH if you're loking for guided fishing trips (trout, bass, stripers, etc) year round.

TFH had everything Orvis shop had BUT at a better price and LESS commercial vibe and feel. Don't get me wrong, I like the Orvis guys, but the gear was highly priced and not all that better than some of the BassProShop stuff I bought.

The crew at TFH, young guys and saltier ones are solid men who shoot you straight, no pressure you AND fish regularly. They are also next to one helluva gun store called "Chucks Firearms" and you can't go wrong in either shop. Chucks has the same vibe and feel, and specialize in various brands most...

I received a recommendation from a friend to skip the big box retail stores for fly fishing gear and head straight to The Fish Hawk. I walked in not knowing what I wanted but knew that I would leave with what I needed. Ronnie helped me into the right pair of waders and boots to go fly fishing the next day. While he was pulling flys and the other necessary accessories Austin set up my rod and reel and gave me a quick crash course in its use. I left confident knowing that the knowledge I received would help me have a good time on the water and it did. I will be back soon to get some more accessories but also to continue to pick the brains of these experienced...
