City Nails — Local services in Atlanta

About 2 & half weeks ago I went to get my feet done well I was the last client and they put a plastic bag over my toes with my shoes on. Because they were trying to get out to go home and then my toe nail polish was all mess up because it was not really dry and then the lady that did my feet was extremely rough and kind of rude and it was not until I mention I have an ingrown toe tail and to take it out. Well I thought she did but when I got home and really mess down on my toe it was still some what there. Then before I left they said to me to come the next day if my toe nail polish is mess up and assured me even the lady that did my feet that she would be there. I came back the next day and only 2 workers was there and I ask the man that seem like he was the manager if I could be taken care and he said that I need to come back because and he was not the manager and I tried to even call but they don't pick the phone before having to come in and he said that he is not the manager and started yelling and screaming and cursing at me. I am not the one for that mess. Then I came back about 2 & weeks later because my schedule is busy to address the matter and the same guy that was so rude to me state this time he was the manager and then did the same thing. They really sent me in. I will never come back to this dreadful place and the lack of respect is unreal and have reported them to better business as well. If I could give no stars I would! I booked a 10am nail appointment on 10/17 for my WEDDING! Coco assured me I would be in the chair at 10 since my small ceremony was a few hours later. I walk in at 9:59 for my 10am nail appointment. This woman has someone in the chair starting on their nails!!!! And says “You no here at 10 o’clock so I start on customer” IT IS 9:59!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to walk out before I went off. Why would you do that when you know I’m getting married today?! I was literally crying I was in such disbelief. Because I had to find someone else to do my nails, my wedding was pushed back almost 2 hours. Coco is the worst nail tech I have ever experienced, everyone in that nail salon has a terrible attitude. And she was the only one I did go to, but not anymore. She is too disrespectful. Any other day I would’ve sat down and waited, but this was my wedding day. And she knew this, and assured she would make sure at least my nails went right. And they use MDMA in this salon. Some of the techs are not licensed. They don’t use clean utensils on each person. They reuse the same utensils. They tell you they are using SNS, but it is really cheap colored acrylic that they put in SNS containers. That’s why the prices are so good. But you’ll end up with a fungus or damaged nails. I’m definitely reporting them to the BBB, and the state for using illegal chemicals on nails. This salon should be shut down! It looks a hot ghetto mess when you walk inside of it. They keep a crackhead inside that they make run errands for them for a few dollars. It’s a hot mess! Never...

If I could rate a 0 I would. I’ve been here a couple of times, and every single time the service is TERRIBLE and the wait is at least 30 minutes long. The shop is dirty, they don’t even clean the tools they’re using on your nails, and on top of all of that they’re just rude. There’s always confusing and disorganization, like at least twice when I’ve come in and been waiting, someone who came in after me was serviced first. And it’s not like they had an appointment because the shop literally refuses to answer the phone. I went in today to try to get two broken nails repaired and I asked the man at the front working on someone who I should wait for and how long will the wait be. He repeatedly told me there was no one available now, and I repeatedly asked who would be available SOON and he repeatedly said no one. I sat down to just wait until the next tech became available, and I was sitting next to the table this man was sitting at. He was working on someone’s nails and she was trying to explain to him how she wanted her nails done and the man began yelling at her and saying “WHAT THE HELL DO YOU EVEN WANT”. I left the salon and I will NEVER be back. Spend your money elsewhere. I usually go to this shop because the prices are more affordable, but the discounted price isn’t worth the ridiculously long wait times, bad service, dirtiness, and rudeness.
