Phil's Carousel Bar — Restaurant in Atlantic City

So their whole schtick is that the bar revolves like a carousel. However, they turned this setting off for some reason while we were there. We had asked the bartender why the bar wasn’t revolving and he gave a an answer along the lines of, “Eh, we didn’t turn it on yet.” We were probably sitting there for about 30-45 minutes before they turned it on and it started to turn. Overpriced and gimmicky. I ordered the funnel cake espresso martini. It was just okay, it just tasted like Bailey’s. Bartender was kind of weird and off-putting, and not particularly great at mixing such simple drinks.

Bottom line is that the only reason you’re coming to this bar is because you’re already on the boardwalk or in the casino, you’re not going out of your way...

Went to the Carousel Bar last night but never got served. There were 3 in our party, and we sat at the bar for over 15 minutes without ever even being acknowledged by Frank, the bartender, even after I walked over to the other side of the bar to get his attention. The bar was fairly busy, but not full, and all the other patrons seemed to have been served at least one round. Since it seemed to be the only bar open at Bally's, we chose to leave. Sat at the bar for at least 25 minutes before I was even greeted!.The bartender was awful... finally got our drinks after 45 minutes..2 basic bar drinks...35.00 !! She then comes back and puts two more in front of us. I didn't order these! Oops. Wrong couple... customers were waiting forever! Most were furious I don't mind the price .the service didn't warrant a dime. This is not good for return customers. Update.... received a 67.00 charge on my credit card. She charged me for the drinks that weren't mine..which she quickly removed and gave them the couple that...
