The Original LoPresti's Pizza & Grill — Restaurant in Atlantic City

As a long-time customer of the original Lopresti's Pizza and Grill on Atlantic City's boardwalk, I've always enjoyed the food and service. However, I recently had a disappointing experience that has prompted me to reassess my original review.

On a weekday night, we ordered approximately $118 worth of food. While it was being prepared, a tornado warning accompanied by heavy rain forced the owner to close the metal doors, which is understandable for safety reasons. Unfortunately, we never received our food.

The next day, we returned to find the restaurant closed. Two days later, we visited again and were told that despite having the receipt as proof of our order, they would not issue a refund or provide us with the food we had ordered. Instead, we were offered a single slice of pizza for each of us as compensation for our trouble. Really?

While I recognize that unforeseen circumstances can occur, this experience has left me feeling that the owners are not entirely honest. Although the food is still good, this incident has significantly impacted my perception of the establishment.

In summary, while I appreciate the quality of the food, I cannot overlook how we were treated. I hope this feedback helps improve their customer service...

The Original LoPresti's Pizza & Grill has hand tossed fresh pizza dough, humongous one of a kind breaded wing dings plus much much more. They will put your wing sauce on the side or toss your wings in one of their famous sauces. We were waited on promptly and pizza was done within in 15mins.The crust of the pizza was perfectly done. The pizza sauce had the perfect balance of spices and just the perfect amount of cheese. I also noticed the massive hot and Italian sausage sitting on the grill they looked wonderful as well. We can't wait to come back next time we are in town. Get a WHOLE PIE WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY! 🍕🍕and don't forget...

While walking the boardwalk this evening (1st time visitor to AC). We noticed this great looking establishment. Ordered 2 slices of 🍕. They were awesome. Still hungry I went back for more. Speaking with Franco and his daughter Analise I inquired about a Philly Cheesesteak. And boy I'm glad I ordered one. Wow!!!! It was the best one I have ever had. My wife even ordered the chicken kabob(one word "Huge"). Franco came and asked how everything was(even asked over the intercom before that). They were very gracious hosts while at Lopresti's. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone visiting Atlantic City. You have new fans from Texas. Keep up the great work. 5 ⭐...
