Walked inside at 9:45. Did not get any help until 10:02.When I asked for a strawberry milkshake Genie (the shift lead on Sunday January 19,2020) stated that it could not be made. When I asked why she said the machine was not working and my milkshake could not be made. the gentleman taking my order (Ray) was asking what she was talking about and why it couldn’t be made, so I asked the question “could it not be made or has the machine already been cleaned for tonight” she stated that the machine had already been cleaned for the night . I told her the machine being clean before you close is not my problem. Especially because I walked in at 9:45 and didn’t even get help until 10:02 . (She knew she was supposed to wait until after 10:00 when no more customers could ask for a milkshake to clean the machine.) she told Ray “hurry up and make THESE PEOPLE milkshake so they can get out of here” I said these people or customers and she rolled her eyes and finished helping the customers that she had. I’ve never been treated with so much disrespect from a Cold Stone she was so rude and mean for no reason . However, Ray was extremely sweet (the reason for the 2 stars) and if anything he needs her position he knows the policy . He knows you’re supposed to wait until all the customers leave and the store is closed to start cleaning up . Thank You Ray ! Genie needs to work in a field that doesn’t require her to talk to people with as nasty as an attitude that she had ! I’M NEVER...
Read moreExtremely slow service, poor quality preparation, awful experience overall. 29May2015 @1930.
I worked at a Cold Stone Creamery in Michigan and I can say that this service is unacceptable for such an expensive creamery. They seem to have assigned everyone a duty, one person takes ice cream and puts it on the slab, one mixes, one cashes out, and one....only gives samples.... This system makes no sense and DOES NOT WORK unless all the employees understand one another's duties and can help out when the store becomes busy. There was a line of people waiting with only one associate taking the orders and he wasn't communicating with the mixers effectively so they had no idea who was ordering what and what each order was. The mixers were terrible. The ice cream wasn't mixed, mixins weren't cut, and portions were not correct according to size. I got the same amount of mixins in my Everybody's size as a Like It size. The workers didn't know how many mixins go in each size and I was almost charged extra because of it. We thought the worker who approached us when the other was busy was ready to take our order but apparently she "only does samples." No one should be paid even minimum wage to only give samples. And she wasn't even asking people who were waiting if they wanted to try an ice cream anyway. Some of the ice cream was freezer-burned. This store needs a complete overhaul and everyone needs...
Read moreOn September 16, 2024 at 4:07 p.m. or 1607 hrs. I pulled up to Cold Stone Creamery on Robert C. Daniels, to see a young Caucasian woman with a knee brace on her right knee, standing outside vaping. As I exited my vehicle, I walked to the door and held the door for an older black lady behind me. As we entered the premises I noticed the young woman outside vaping came inside. She then walked behind the counter and started trying to service the other customer and myself. I had to ask her to wash her hands to serve me. She then muttered “oh I forgot!” I had to stand there just to make sure she washed her hands properly with soap and water. I’m unaware as to what type of training these individuals are receiving, but as someone who is safe serve certified, handwashing is apart of that course! Someone needs to either properly train or retrain these employees because how can you forget to wash your hands when you work in food services?! I will gladly patronize another...
