McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Augusta

We decided to go to McAlister's Deli instead of Panera today. We should have gone to panera. My mother ordered a salad and said it was just okay but not great. We went specifically because the website said you had kickin crab chowder. When we got there I ordered it and the employee said that they do not carry it because one of their employees has a shellfish allergy. Which is fine, I sympathize, I totally understand, but then it should not be advertised on your website menu. That is the whole reason we went there instead of Panera today. So I ordered nachos instead and they were just so - so, it was like something I could have just thrown together at home real quick. My daughter ordered the baked potato and the broccoli cheddar soup. The baked potato barely had any toppings on it which left a whole bland potato that she ended up having to Salt and Pepper just to get some taste out of but she really liked the broccoli cheddar soup. The restaurant itself is nice and very modern. The chairs are very comfortable. And the customer service was exceptional . Horrible Customer Service! After placing a pricey catering order from the 3602 Exchange Lane location in Augusta, Ga consisting of a spud bar for a staff of 60, they delivered it with 1 tub of individually wrapped very small butters, maybe 20 total in the container, and they only sent one tub of sour cream 2/3 full. When I called to request that someone bring us more butter and sour cream, the manager- a female- said they measure out the sour cream and that it should cover the order we placed. Seriously? about a pint worth for 60 potatoes? And then with an attitude, she tells me she can't send anyone because they were in the middle of lunch rush! Well what about all the money we spent and our staff waiting to eat a loaded DRY potato because there was not enough sour cream? We had to go to a local store and purchase more butter and sour cream! This person should not be in this position! And we'll NEVER EVER order anything from this place again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give a ZERO star...

Terrible service at this location. I love McAllister and have eaten at a variety of different locations and have never experienced what I did today. I have been once before and the service wasn't great but today it was ridiculous. First there were two people eating and one other person came in after me to place a order. There were at least 5 staff folks. The person after me got her order about 10 minutes before me. I am now the only person in the restaurant other than staff. The staff was nowhere to be seen. It is now 20 minutes and I had to ask if my food was ready. Since I was sitting on the side I saw them put up an order 10 minutes before this. That was my order.. The tea was extremely bitter and undrinkable and even with all that staff doing nothing every table outside had not been cleaned. I appreciate the staff all want to socialize in the back but a little service would be appreciated. Neeess to say I won't be coming back to...
