Observed no cfsm certificate in facility. Corrective action: obtain immediately; observed potato slicer had food build up on it. corrective action: have the potato slicer cleaned after every use; observed ground beef in reach in cooler at 46F and 43F. Observed sliced tomatoes in ptc at 44F. Corrective action: Keep ptc closed when not in use to maintain temps. Corrective action: moved ground beef to a different cooler or lower temp setting on current reach-in cooler. Observed sliced tomatoes and ground beef(burgers) without prep and discard dates. Corrective action: have prep and discard dates on tcs food. Observed chemicals (bug spray) on same shelf as food items. Corrective action: Use of residential bug spray in commercial restaurants is prohibited, and never store chemicals on same shelf as food items. This place used to have some of the best burgers in town. Not anymore. The waitress messed up a very simple order of a burger with everything except ketchup and mayo. It came with mayo and nothing else so I had to ask for pickles. I wasn’t too sad about the missing lettuce, tomato and onions. The bacon ranch fries were okay but the cook just took a couple of pieces of bacon and barely crumpled them on top of the fries so it was basically 2 pcs of bacon thrown on the fries instead of a bunch of crumbles throughout the fries. The cooks water was right in front of me so he kept standing 1.5ft in front of me gulping down his water, staring directly at me while I was trying to eat. Very uncomfortable. I forgot it was cash only so I had to use their ATM. $5 fee for that! Plus my bank charged me another $2.50. Not their fault but unless you want to get robbed by the fees don’t forget to bring cash. Riverfront Pub lacks curb appeal but that's it. Be aware, they only accept cash, which is clearly posted, but they have an ATM available. We decided to stop after I had been curious for a while and my friend wanted a tasty big messy burger. We got just that! We each ordered the 1/2 lb cheeseburger with all the fixings, buffalo chips (YUMMY!) and onion rings. Everything was cooked to our liking and tasted just as we expected, mystery solved. We had great service, the Pub was clean and the cook wore and changed gloves as new orders came in. The bathroom is old but clean. We were there in the late afternoon on a Tuesday so they weren't super busy. I had heard that it smelled like smoke and instantly thought of the movie, Color of Money, but it didn't have a smoke odor. There's lots of pool tables and seating available.
