Great gyro spot! Was dropping off a friend nearby when I got a hankering for a lamb gyro and when I searched, it turned out that I was just a couple of blocks away from here. The menu is being updated for prices, but the lamb/chicken combo gyro I had was $9 and the fries were $5. The ordering was friendly and paying easy with the tap option. Order took like 10 minutes. I decided to eat in my car because I had a feeling I was going to need privacy. I did! Everything was so good! Super soft pita loaded with meat, veggies and sauce. It was messy and beautiful. The fries were crispy and tasty with the ketchup and white sauce combo. Kind of like the ketchup mayo that you get in south America. Putting this one with my top gyro spots in ATX. Update: Just visited again after a couple of months and everything was just as delicious. Got a combo over rice this time and it was loaded! Had them add their spicy sauce and it was so worth it! Not ridiculously hot, with lots of tangy flavor. Worth it!

So let me start off by saying the only reason I’m giving a 2 star is because I couldn’t even eat my gyro wrap because I asked for no sauce and it was full of sauce. What was crazy is that they even wrote no sauce on the foil! I was so so bummed. I had also got the meat over fries with gyro meat, fries were bland but the meat was DELICIOUS!!! So I know the wrap would have been devine and stars would have definitely been a lot higher if I would have been able to eat it.

This is the late night spot you need to visit. I got the lamb salad but substituted rice for fries. Lamb was a little tougher than I’d like but the plate had a lot of flavor and complimenting textures. The hot sauce was the right amount of heat and not overbearing. Owner is a cool guy too, very hands on. This is definitely a business you want to support.

This man is a king, and his truck a golden chariot. Ordered a combo plate and added falafel.

The chicken, nice and spicy The gyro, moist and tender The falafel, literally released a steam puff when I bit into it, it was so fresh.

I may be biased because I love this kind of food, but this was some of the best lunch I've had, period.

Will likely start ordering from here weekly.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

4 Months have gone by, the world, further thrown into chaos and the populous divided. Torrential rain fills the streets, making canals from what once were alleyways. Buffeting winds shreds at the basin of the earth and all but peel us right off of the face of it. But wait, there, there he is. A golden beacon. A pinnacle. The Flavor Savior.

Have ordered here almost weekly, if not twice weekly since trying it 4 months ago. As...

This is a great food cart in downtown - the gentleman Ubi was very very friendly and helpful - the food was all extremely delicious, well spiced. There are picnic tables to sit and eat there. The Philly cheesesteak had a nice Mediterranean spice and was a generous portion packed with meat. The platter with rice was delicious , the combo of the spicy and creamy sauce was really good, the rice was flavorful as well as the meat, the gyros were excellent and the salad was also very refreshing - they put sauce on the top so for a salad if you’re taking it home as for sauce on the side so it doesn’t get saturated with dressing by the time you get home. Overall amazing experience and I will...
