The Gyro over Rice was incredible. Never had one like it before. We think we were given the beef over rice by mistake? It had small pieces of meat that had a very familiar South Asian taste...seasoned like a very specific beef dish where the meat is cooked until dried out but moist at the same time. The sauce was very different from the usual over rice places. It had some yellow and white sauce but no red (hot) sauce.
So Gyro or beef, whichever one it was, it was delicious! We will order 1 gyro and 1 beef next time to see what the difference is!
The Zinger over Rice was good too. It had big pieces of crusted chicken. It needed more sauce though as it became quite dry towards the end. This sauce also felt different than the one on the other dish. It was some light yellow sauce i have not seen before. Really interesting flavors for both!
We ordered via GrubHub so prices are inflated at 12.99 per dish. $26 dollars is a bit much for the portions that were given. The food was not packed to the fullest, we had no leftovers and still were kinda hungry. At other over rice places, we usually have 20% leftover at around the same price. Per the website, actual prices are $10.99 per dish which is reasonably better but still should be cheaper considering...

Here is the order number I received via email from them in the Order Details of the receipt: #255076742. You should be able to look up the order to find that it was placed during business hours when you appeared to be open. I am not intending to leave 1-star review to spite you.
I placed an online order and paid during normal business hours when their website indicated they were open, only to arrive to find that they were closed instead. Of course that was an unpleasant discovery by itself, but the real trouble is that I’ve not been able to get in touch with the business for them to refund my purchase, and they haven’t returned my calls.
TLDR; Accepting a customer payment when you’re not open, and not refunding them or returning calls is a poor business practice.
If a representative of the business is reading this, don’t bother leaving a stock reply asking how you can improve- instead open your voicemail, listen to my message, and refund...
Read moreFood is good, but the portions and sizes are too small. The Shawarma looks like a “Smoothie straw“ and that’s around 50 grams of chicken inside. Honestly, I almost cried when I saw the falafel sizes, that was really offensive… I paid $5 for 6 coin shaped falafel. I paid $20 for a small portions, no restrooms, no A/C, no table service (and they ask for Tips when you pay), no parking and long wait. And, when I go to an Italian restaurant (ex: Cipolina), with A/C, Restrooms, Waitress, water, Bread, Butter, short wait and Parking, I pay around...
